Flynn's ArcadeBrain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLReally well themed. It really embraced TRON and has some great surprise moments. The first room in particular was amazing. And it started the way no escape room has ever started for us. Really appreciated that. The room was brand new so there was still a few kinks to work out. A clue that was a little out of place. And a technology issue that needed some rate work. But even with that we loved it. And we loved the special touch of how the game started.
Twenty Ghosts of ChristmasBrain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLSoooo many puzzles! Great room to split up into groups of two. A little crowded and chaotic at times. The more you participate with the "host" in the room the more fun you will have. A lot of physical activities. Well, we had a great time simply because there was so many puzzles to do. And many of them were great fun. There were a couple puzzles in the room that needed to be reworked. Either because they were broken or because the activity wasn't great. But please take that with a grain of salt. Because we all left with huge smiles on our face and would consider this in the top end of good escape rooms. Game
Steampunk AliceMaze Rooms - LAXEscape roomIRLGreat theme and design. Some very fun unique puzzles. Each part is unique and tells a story. A little on the easier side. There is a narrator you really have to listen to. This is not always easy to hear in a group.
Men In Suits (MIS)Maze Rooms - LAXEscape roomIRLMiddle of the road fun room. Good technology. Group of 6 was almost too many people. There is a lot of listening to characters talking in this room. It was hard to hear instructions instructions cases. Also this room has a lot of crawling and climbing.
Escape the Mystic Manor Blue [prev. The Eventide Departure]Puzzle BreakEscape roomIRLWhile the room was on the easier side, still really enjoyed it. The theming was well done and immersive. It had some great reveal moments. Puzzles had a great flow to them. Just when you thought you were stuck on something, you'd get one more detail from the other area. Also some very unique non-lock-based puzzles.
A Pirate's CurseEscapology - NorthridgeEscape roomIRLThe rooms are all pretty small. I wouldn't do this with more than four to six people. The theming is excellent. Not a lot of special effects. The puzzles are very very linear. We were a group of four adults and two kids and got out with 15 minutes to spare. There were a lot of Gen1 padlock puzzles. Almost everything was attempting to get a combination or key.
Cannibal's Den 2.0Quest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLA little non sequitur. Definitely a 1.0 room with lots of padlocks. We enjoyed it. But not or favorite.
