End of the RoadNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLIt was a great room and the GM had a lot of energy and really got into character even when collecting us from the foyer! I will say that I found the room slightly underwhelming compared to some of the other rooms I've done at Next Level. There weren't a lot of puzzles. I will caveat by saying we had 5 people in this room and it was way too many people. There were moments when some of us were just watching because it was a linear room and we couldn't do much else. This is absolutely nothing against the room, it is just the nature of linear rooms and larger groups. Would recommend 2-3 people max.
星座殺手 [Zodiac Killer]Fox in a Box Hong KongEscape roomIRLWe did this room with 2 people and loved it. Not scary, but maybe a bit spooky. Not a huge amount of puzzles but they were very well made puzzles. We had a great time!
The Other SideFox in a Box Hong KongEscape roomIRLThis was really enjoyable. We are a team of 2. The puzzles were great and very well thought out. It's a good room to really sink into each puzzle rather than rushing from one puzzle to the next, which is a welcomed change for us. Although more puzzles would be good!
Tesla's MysteryFox in a Box Hong KongEscape roomIRLThe room was very busy!! Lots of puzzles to do and every minute is accounted for. Some of the puzzles were a bit confusing in the moment but it made sense afterwards. I would say the puzzles are a bit random but thats what makes the room so busy.
掠奪 [Stolen]LOST Causeway BayEscape roomIRLThis was an experience.....the room was quite dated with lots of broken, ripped or otherwise items/wallpaper etc. For the most part, the puzzles didn't make much sense. It was so disjointed. It's rated 5/5 difficulty, but we didn't find the puzzles challenging per se, more so unclear and confusing. We spent much of the time confused. The puzzles and decor need significant improvement. Until then, I wouldn't recommend the room at all.
SilentIce Break Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWe did 'silence' as a group of 4 and honestly it was a bit of a let down. We felt the puzzles, whilst they were good individually, weren't really connected in a way that was logical and made sense. There were also about 6 puzzles in total, which was very short. Whilst we finished with some spare time, we spent a lot of the time confused even though 2 of us are experienced players. We also felt the room decor was quite limited, it didn't feel like much effort went into creating a theme. The rooms are linear, which we don't enjoy and prefer non-linear rooms. All in all, I would have to say this is one of the worst escape rooms I have done.
