IT at Code Agency is an incredibly atmospheric escape room with an amazing level of attention to detail. From the moment you step inside, it really feels like you’ve been transported to Derry. Whether you’re a fan of IT or not, the setting is immersive and beautifully designed. The puzzles aren’t particularly difficult, which allows you to fully enjoy the experience and soak in the incredible atmosphere. Every room is thoughtfully crafted, making the whole adventure feel authentic and memorable. Whether you’re a horror fan or simply looking for a unique escape room, IT is absolutely worth playing. I highly recommend it!

The atmosphere in the room is simply impressive: detailed sets, mysterious elements, and beautiful lighting and sound effects create an incredibly immersive experience. You can immediately tell how much creativity and passion went into the design. It’s especially the combination of magic, suspense, and adventure that makes this escape room something truly special. The puzzles were exceptionally well-thought-out and varied. There were many creative challenges that required teamwork, communication, and attention to detail. We especially loved how the puzzles fit perfectly into the story—you never just “work your way through tasks,” but truly feel like you’re fulfilling an important mission. The team at Code Agency was also incredibly friendly and dedicated. The introduction was designed to be exciting and immediately got us in the mood for the adventure. During the game, we were guided just the right amount, without losing any of the suspense. “Scepter of Light” is a lovingly designed escape room full of magic, surprises, and thrilling moments. We highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience an extraordinary adventure. We had a blast and will definitely be back!

⭐ “Poltergeist” by Code Agency was an absolutely incredible escape room experience! From the very beginning, the atmosphere was immersive, eerie, and incredibly well executed. Every room was beautifully designed with amazing attention to detail, making it easy to get completely drawn into the story. The jump scares were one of the highlights. They were perfectly timed, genuinely surprising, and added a thrilling level of tension without feeling overdone. It struck the perfect balance between horror, suspense, and challenging puzzles. A special mention goes to our Game Master, who did an excellent job. The introduction set the mood perfectly, and the hints were delivered at just the right moments, enhancing the experience without taking away the challenge. If you’re looking for a highly atmospheric horror escape room with fantastic set design, memorable scares, and a great Game Master, “Poltergeist” at Code Agency is an absolute must-play. Highly recommended!

As soon as you step into the room, you immediately notice how lovingly and meticulously the owners have designed everything. The atmosphere is just right and draws you right into the world of chess. I was particularly impressed by the many small details in the room, which fit the theme perfectly and make the gaming experience even more immersive. You can feel in every corner just how much passion and creativity has gone into this. The puzzles are tricky, varied, and very well thought out. They require logical thinking and teamwork—just the right mix of challenge and fun! All in all, a thoroughly successful escape room that I can highly recommend to all puzzle fans—especially chess lovers.

The moment you step inside, you’re completely immersed in an imaginative, magical world. The sets are designed with an incredible attention to detail, making you feel as though you’re truly on a magical adventure. From mysterious artifacts to impressive special effects, every corner was full of surprises. We especially loved the atmospheric ambiance, complete with fitting music and cleverly used lighting and sound effects. The puzzles were varied, creative, and perfectly tailored to the theme. You had to think logically, look closely, and work together as a team—that’s exactly what makes a really good escape room. The difficulty level was just right: challenging, but never frustrating. Everyone in our group was able to contribute and had several genuine “wow” moments. The on-site team was also super friendly, motivated, and welcomed us with great enthusiasm. The introduction was exciting, and you could immediately tell how much passion went into the entire concept. “Rescue the Magical World” is definitely one of the best escape rooms we’ve played so far. Perfect for friends, families, or coworkers who want to dive into a magical adventure together. We’ll definitely be back and can absolutely recommend this room!

The Bunker at Code Agency is one of the most unique and immersive escape rooms I’ve played. The story is incredibly engaging and pulls you in right from the beginning without relying on cheap scares. I won’t spoil anything, but the narrative unfolds in a way that keeps the tension high throughout the entire experience. Personally, I’d recommend playing this room with people you already know and trust. There are moments where you really need to rely on each other, communicate well, and work together, which makes the experience even more intense. The atmosphere is outstanding—dark, claustrophobic, and incredibly immersive. It feels very different from most escape rooms, creating a constant sense of suspense that stays with you from start to finish. It’s a truly special and unforgettable experience, and definitely one of the most intense rooms I’ve done. I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for something beyond a traditional escape room.

We played the escape room “Escape from Tutankhamun’s Tomb” at the Fun Fabrik. The room itself is homemade and, overall, perfectly fine. The Egyptian theme is well executed, and we also enjoyed the puzzles. Unfortunately, the experience was significantly marred by the organization. In addition to the escape rooms, the Fun Fabrik also offers laser tag, and apparently there’s often only one person on duty at a time who’s responsible for the front desk, drinks, laser tag, and the escape rooms. Unfortunately, this was very noticeable during our game. For one thing, the technology malfunctioned several times. Even more problematic, however, was that when we needed hints, we sometimes had to call out to the Game Master eight to ten times before we got any response at all. Sometimes we weren’t understood, or we had to wait a long time because the staff member was busy with something else. As a result, we felt pretty much left to our own devices for long stretches of the game—and that’s exactly what shouldn’t happen in an escape room. As an apology, we were given a free drink, which we certainly appreciated. However, that doesn’t change the fact that the organization unfortunately didn’t work out that day. It’s a shame, because the room itself definitely has potential. With better supervision and sufficient staff, the experience would certainly have been much better.

We also played the escape room “The Hunt for Jack the Ripper” at Fun Fabrik. First off, the room’s design deserves special mention. The atmosphere of a London alleyway was really beautifully recreated and creates the perfect setting. Unfortunately, however, we encountered the same organizational issues here as we did in the other room. Apparently, one person is responsible for the front desk, the laser tag guests, and the escape rooms all at the same time. This was unfortunately very noticeable during the game. Even the intro didn’t work—the story didn’t play. There were also technical issues later on, forcing us to pause the game several times while the equipment was being fixed. This, of course, significantly disrupted our immersion. On top of that, communication with the Game Master was once again very difficult. When we needed help, we sometimes had to call out countless times and wave at the camera before anyone even responded. We often felt like we were completely on our own because the staff member was busy with other tasks. The room itself is generally well-designed, even though some puzzles weren’t entirely logical to us and the solutions sometimes didn’t seem entirely clear. We could have lived with that—but the organizational and technical issues detracted much more significantly from the overall experience. It’s a shame, because we really liked the setting. With reliable technology, better supervision, and enough staff, this room could be a lot more fun.
