We were worried we might run out of time with there only being two of us, but actually managed the room very comfortably. The staff were super friendly and welcoming which always enhances the experience too.
The SurgeryLocked In GlasgowEscape roomIRLThis is one of the best escape rooms I've experienced so far. A novel way to start and then absolutely tons of puzzles to figure out. Tight to fit it into an hour with only 2 players, however, there is an option to cut out part of the room when you book as a 2 player to save some time (probably about 10 mins). We didn't take this option, but if you're new to escape rooms or rarely escape, I'd definitely recommend to make it more manageable.
School Of MagicLocked In GlasgowEscape roomIRLWe completed this as a team of 2. Lovely theming and there was so much to work through that it kept us very busy indeed! I was worried we wouldn't finish in time (no time elapsed screen in rooms, just the odd update through speaker) but we thankfully made it out with a wee minute to spare! Chris was a fantastic GM who was so friendly and helpful before, during and after the game. We don't like to ask for help unless we reeeeaaalllyyy need it, but Chris was great at gauging when we needed a nudge later in the game as he could obviously see we were getting tight on time. We appreciated this as it probably did help us complete it on time. We're looking forward to coming back with our kids soon as they will love it!
Titanic: The Final HourTimescape Live Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThis was only my 2nd escape room experience but very enjoyable. I'd say, compared to the rooms I've completed since, it is a bit tired and could do with some refreshing. Overall though, some great puzzles and features.
Magic EmporiumEscape GlasgowEscape roomIRLThis was a good escape room to do with my daughter and niece (both 9 at the time) and, as Harry Potter lovers, they really enjoyed the theme. It was fun and had some nice elements, though some of the clues were a bit confusing and could be finessed a bit more.
