Temple of DoomTime Emporium - Estes ParkEscape roomIRLThis was a well done room/experience. It is probably not in my top 10, but was great for the price. I have done other escape rooms in touristy locations that were poorly done but still got traffic due to being the only rooms in the area, and thankfully this is not like that. The lighting at the beginning of the room made it a bit difficult to see and work the puzzles, but I get that it was done on purpose to achieve a certain ambiance. Other than this, we really enjoyed the theme, puzzles, decor, and flow. Nothing was broken, and there were no “simple” locks, which stayed true to the theme.
USS Constellation - CLOSEDCharm City Clue RoomEscape roomIRLThe “wow factor” is fairly low, but it was moderately challenging and still a lot of fun. I played with two kids under twelve, so I chose this room on purpose. It was perfect for our team. We escaped with 15 mins left, and everyone enjoyed it.
Gates of AtlantisTime Emporium - Estes ParkEscape roomIRLGM was great. Our game had a broken puzzle, but she made it up to us. The room was well decorated and the props were not cheap or flimsy. We enjoyed the flow and the hint system. Lighting can sometimes be too low when trying to set the atmosphere, but the lighting in our game was perfect. Overall, we were extremely happy with our experience and look forward to coming back to try the other room.
Escape From Alcatraz - CLOSEDUnraveled Escape RoomEscape roomIRLI’ve done quite a few escape rooms, and I can honestly say this one is one of the best. Finding the entrance was a little tricky as it is on the back corner of the building, but luckily there is an SUV parked out front to help you find it. The game masters were extremely friendly, and the room itself was incredible. I love a good ‘secret reveal’, and the room we played delivered almost immediately. The coolness factor was really high in terms of game flow and the puzzles we had to solve. I live out of state so I don’t know when I’ll get to go back, but I definitely look forward to the chance to play their other rooms in the future. Thank your for a great experience!
Ghost LightMyssTic RoomsEscape roomIRLAmazing establishment! The decor and props are outstanding, and game flow was excellent. We did the Ghost Light room and now I can't wait to come back and play the other room. Our game master was also top notch; the setup/intro was done with great enthusiasm. Highly recommend!
