13th Basement falls into an exciting crossover of the horror and comedy genre and excels at both of them with flying colors. With a set that is wonderfully immersive, there is no piece that is just for show- you get to interact with each item they craft in order to progress with your game, and it made the horror fanatic in me absolutely giddy. This game was clearly built by people who love escape rooms, and I think it is a ton of fun for first timers and enthusiasts alike.

An incredible experience. Sometimes you are so blown away by an experience, and I can’t believe how surprised I was with how fantastic of a time that I had here. The puzzles were crafted with so much love, and it’s clear that there is so much passion and enthusiasm with the set and scenic design. Each room had wonderful allusions to Indy and had me excited for every step of the way! The game masters here are absolute gems, and I think they’re some of the best and kindest people I’ve met at an escape room venue in a long time!

I really really love Cinema Escape. These rooms are both really solid, and although I enjoyed Arc of the Covenant more, The Strange Thing was still a lot of fun. The puzzles and actions we had to go through were really clever, and not too on the nose for the lovingly borrowed theme of a similar name. I felt like this was a love letter to the story, and it was really well crafted as well. I love this location a lot- really awesome staff, the owners seem like great people, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!

This game is really solid. It has a fun story, and I really loved the way our game master/actor interacted with us raising the stakes and the pressure of our game experience. This was a really fun game, and a huge challenge with only 2 people. However, some of the puzzles seemed to lack just a little bit, with one particular puzzle that felt a little unnecessary (without throwing any spoilers, but with all the small metal things, this puzzle is a bit on the dangerous side). I will say- This location has some of the best game masters, and I’ve had such a great experience with them being such awesome hosts.

By far my favorite game that Maze Rooms has opened so far. With not too challenging, yet fun puzzles, an exciting twist, and a moment that quite literally made everyone in our group absolutely yelp in excitement, Cyberpunk Samurai, exhibited many awesome qualities. While the story beats were definitely a little on the weak side, the rather impressive scenic design alongside some fun puzzles make up for that fault. I honestly had a really good time, and can’t wait to play the other games at this location.
