Escape Ventures slays, that’s all they do! This game knocked it out of the park- it was an awesome experience from beginning to end and they always bring it with their top notch friendly staff. I really enjoyed interacting with the actor, and the puzzles were not too overly complicated but they were still interesting and helped bring cohesion to the environment while adding to the story of the room. TL;DR- Please play this room!

Immersive in more ways than I can even begin to recognize! This is by far one of the most unique, innovative, and exciting escape rooms in Los Angeles. Story is so strong, puzzles are on point, and the experience as a whole is so rad! I can’t wait for the next one they come up with! I’d even consider coming back and playing this again.

The game has so much character, challenging puzzles, wonderful atmosphere, and moments of like gut-busting laughter. I can’t even begin to explain at how strong this game is. The pirate theme is one I really really love, but don’t get to see done so exceptionally well as they do here at Captain Spooky Bones.

The Weeping Witch

The Weeping Witch was my nickname in college. This is by far my favorite horror escape room, and it might have cracked my overall top 5 as well. So much in this room is right. I screamed, I laughed, and pretty much felt everything else in between. This is one of those things i’m going to wish I could do again for the first time, and i’ll be thinking about just how awesome this game is for a long time!

Overall a very strong experience from beginning to end. I loved exploring every last nook of this apartment that kept surprising us in new ways. Although I was worried it might not live up to the hype I’ve heard throughout the years, I was so excited and beyond stoked to have that fear waved away rather quickly. Definitely bring a solid group, or if you’re a newer team it might be good to have a larger group come along- there’s a LOT of game to explore here 🚽
