The Escape Game
Escape room
IRL
Easily one of my favorite escape rooms! The puzzles were high tech, varied, and really fun (also a bit challenging). The setting & story were incredibly immersive, nostalgic, and a bit humorous. My husband and I made it out, but this room is better suited for a bigger group. Overall, you must try this room if you’re in the area!!
Special Ops: Mysterious Market
The Escape Game - Penn Quarter
Escape room
IRL
One of my favorites by this group! I love 2nd gen puzzles and this had plenty. It was linear and we felt like it was suitable for 2 players but you wouldn't want more than 4. Overall great gameplay & story!
The Chocolate Factory

Magic Lamp
Gnome & Raven

The scenery, props, and high tech mechanics were phenomenal! Our GM stayed in character from the moment we met them up until our escape, too. They are also able to customize the room to accommodate different sized groups, different ages, and different skill levels. Our GM even upped the difficulty in the middle of the game when they realized that my husband and I had mistakenly chosen too low of a level. This room in particular was whimsical and had a charming, immersive storyline. I recommend it for kids and adults alike!
Mayan Jungle Rescue
Quest Escapes - Cibolo [prev. Kwest Club Escape Adventures]
Escape room
IRL
The intro to this room is something that I’ve never seen before! Plus the use of an interactive GM & the way they incorporate actors truly made this experience awesome. You have to check them out!!
Gold Rush
The Escape Game - San Antonio
Escape room
IRL
This is such a cool room! The atmosphere is outstanding and the puzzles are really engaging. Not to mention, one puzzle in particular really stands out. Definitely one of our all time favorite rooms.
The Voyage of the Crimson Ruby

I cannot get over how much I love this place!! The owner has a background in film and it shows. The use of an interactive GM was so cool. You have to check them out! This room is good for experienced players who want a little more of a challenge compared to the other room.
Gold Rush
Operation Escape
Escape room
IRL
This was an incredibly immersive, linear room. Howeverm what made this room stand out were the VERY unique puzzles that we've never seen before! The first room felt “expert” level, but it got a tad bit easier as it went along. I highly recommend stopping by up if you're up for a challenge!
Fair Game
Red Door Escape Room - Richmond
Escape room
IRL
Red Door is the best for escape rooms in the area!! Fair Game happens to be my favorite there. It’s colorful, fun, and exciting, just like a fair. You even get to play some fair games! This was the most unique and stand out feature of this room! Overall, it was the right level of challenging and was incredibly fun, even with 2 players.
Wizard's Castle
Gnome & Raven
Escape room
IRL
One of the best rooms we’ve played! Every detail from the GM to the set was in theme. Gnome & Raven outdid themselves with this whimsical, fun, and challenging room. No complaints at all.
The Gift
Red Door Escape Room - Richmond
Escape room
IRL
This is their most challenging room, I woul recommend it for those with some experience and who want a challenge! The story was very engaging! The puzzles weren’t the most unique but the room was still fun.
