Armoire a Vendre [Wardrobe for Sale]
Escaparium Laval
Escape room
IRL
A grand experience that mixes great gameplay in a solid narrative background. You can really feel all the workmanship that went into creating such an adventure.
La Forêt De Falderon [Falderon Forest]
Sauve Qui Peut
Escape room
IRL
Great game all around but the unique hint system make it something else. Don't hesitate to use all the hint possible when playing
SpellCraft
Tulleys Escape Room
Escape room
IRL
Although more on the classic side gameplay wise, this game surprises players with brilliant transitions, a fun aesthetic and light-hearted moments where it doesn't take itself too seriously
La ConFéeserie
SOS Aventures - Saint-Jérôme
Escape room
IRL
Challenging puzzles even for bitexperienced players in a beautiful immersive space. The story was well presented without taking too much from other aspects. It's somewhat small in scale though so for four players there were some moments where we were in close quarters. The lobby and entry into that location of SOS is a plus for players looking for the whole package.
Rain Corp.
Escaparium Laval
Escape room
IRL
We played this room early in it's run and we had a blast, between the puzzle difficulty being just right for experienced players, the impressive use of space and the help from the in-story character. Since then they have tweaked some aspects so I'm not sure if it's as brilliant as it first was or if our experience was that much better prior to those changes but I'll remember it fondly amongst our top games.
La Maison de Tonton Cornelius [The House of Uncle Cornelius]
Grand Trip Trap Hotel
Escape room
IRL
This is one of the best games I've played, the storytelling transcends the immersive space in a way no other game does.
Spellcaster – L’éclipse Du Sorcier [Spellcaster – The Sorcerer's Eclipse]
S.Cape Laval
Escape room
IRL
Not much better than other rooms at the same company. They invested in a few more tech elements but they're used only almost only to discover laminated papers. The walls are plastic and have a very "Halloween decoration" feeling. Two puzzles have no sign posting and after finishing we were told figuring out all possible options was part of the difficulty. There's also one puzzle where you can break the solution if you rotate an element after gaining it.
