The theming was amazing, from the second you walk into the building and are faced with a seven foot tall Demigorgon! The hosts / Gamesmasters were fantastic, passionate about their rooms and it definitely shows. The difficulty can be tweaked to cater to different skill levels. Overall, we couldn't find any fault at all!
Time Traveller - CLOSEDValley EscapeEscape roomIRLLocated round the back of Cwmtwrch Miners Welfare Hall, this was in one of the most reasonably priced escape rooms (not for profit) that we've done. The puzzles were many and varied, so for a small or very inexperienced team, the 65 minute time limit may be a struggle. The Games Master was lovely and very welcoming and gave hints when he felt we needed a point in the right direction, but it didn't feel too much and didn't spoil our enjoyment. It was a fairly basic room, and not too flashy, no electronics or fanciness. But as stated earlier, that's reflected in the price.
Area 51.5The Escaporium Halifax - The MillEscape roomIRLHaving seen the reviews, we were apprehensive about this one. As a team of 3, we had an extra 15 minutes because there's a lot to do. But the theming was fantastic, the host was so lovely and great nicely flowing puzzles.

Marv The Monkey Presents: The Golden BananaEscapable - The Ridings Shopping CentreEscape roomIRLIncredibly original room, with skill challenges as well as the traditional escape room aspects.
