One of the spookiest rooms I’ve done. No live actor but there’s screens and audio that make the room really unsettling. It also starts very dark so they’ll give you flashlights. Puzzles flow well beyond a tricky opening and is overall easy. The room itself will be your biggest barrier!

I wanted to like this room. The magic theme was interesting and there’s some creativity in purely mechanical rooms (just locks and boxes basically). But it’s overall just lacking in so many ways compared to other experiences. Atmosphere will always be subpar here compared to other rooms because you’re in, essentially, a cubicle with no ceiling. You’ll hear noises from other groups (not uncommon in rooms but worse here), and GMs have to physically walk to you to give a hint instead of over a walkie or screen or in room audio. If you’ve done a ton of escape rooms the puzzles here will throw you off immensely. I can’t speak for every room but this room in particular was FULL of red herrings. Keys were found that did not work with anything, and hints that came with puzzles were often next to props that were intentionally meant to mislead you, or the hints themselves were meant for things you would find later. Arguably the worst part of the design for us was the “Master” level. Apparently, every room has a Master level that you can choose to do after completing the “base” level. The issue is that these master level puzzles are in the room with the other props. Our group in particular ended up simultaneously doing the base level puzzles and the master level ones simply because we opened a box with a random word written on it. There’s a lot of text so this was unlikely, but for us it affected our experience. We got halfway through each level instead of properly working on the base level. Not to mention you’re only given 50m instead of a full hour. Overall a flawed experience that may be worth it if you want something good seriously out of the norm for escape rooms/a challenge, and can pay half the price of other rooms.

Solid room where you can start handcuffed and in the dark. Atmosphere is extremely well done without being too spooky. No jump scares or live actors but be prepared to be startled by clues appearing/things opening as can happen in escape rooms. A lot of stuff in the room can be tough to keep track of but it all flows pretty well if you’re organized. Would recommend 3-4 people.

A fun one for sure. Great combination of high and low tech puzzles. Heavy on logic puzzles and paying very close attention to items found so be aware of that if you tend to miss little details. Very solid experience.

Mystery Mansion

Amazing atmosphere and a little spooky (no live actors or anything though). The puzzles require some serious out of the box thinking as well as the traditional style (locks and whatnot) solutions. A highlight of the location as the puzzle design is likely to be very refreshing (if more difficult to intuit) for escape room veterans.

One of my favorite escape rooms. The room flowed smoothly with 3 people, and there were plenty of puzzles so nobody felt like they were standing there while others solved problems. Would recommend for 4+ people. The atmosphere is great, and the “high-tech” puzzles worked flawlessly. Highly recommend.

Great room. A little spooky but not too much at all. Puzzles were all fun and challenging. A few tech malfunctions didn’t stop this room from being great and did not impede our progress (as with malfunctions in other rooms I’ve done).

Fantastic room. Not much else to say. The clues and rooms flow smoothly and there’s little in the way of overly ambitious tech to risk malfunctioning. Amazing atmosphere, the tech that is used works flawlessly and in an unobtrusive way, and everything you’ve found helps solve the mystery in one way or another by the very end.

An extremely tightly designed room, perfect for 2-3 people. The flow is linear but in a way that allows you to focus on one or two puzzles at a time instead of remembering you had found something for a new puzzle 20m later (not necessarily a bad thing — just a little trickier with less people or strangers who don’t communicate). Also chock full of creative puzzles; a refreshing change of pace from 30 padlocks!
