Clever use of the cat theme with everything definitely relating to felines 🐱 Gameplay and puzzles are geared more towards kids. But there’s a lot to do, so even more experienced escape enthusiasts will have a fun time being a Cat 🐈 Owner was super cool to chat with as well. Very friendly and welcoming person 😁

Very fun, but felt a bit disappointed with how many players my group had. Recommend 3-4 players to cover everything. Any more could be pushing it if the players are experienced with escape rooms
Big Brain Labs60Out - HollywoodEscape roomIRLGame is super fun and a nice twist on the scientist theme. Has a lot to do and probably warrants 3+ people. Production is crazy good as well. The puzzles and tasks themselves are actually very well thought out. Each one fits within the science theme perfectly. Difficulty is very well thought out too. Overall it’s one of the most enjoyable rooms I’ve ever played. And the GMs Rebecca and Grant were amazing. So cheerful and chatty about the room itself and others. Got some nice recommendations about other places to try out

Very large play area, numerous puzzles, and difficulty was definitely on the hit gf we end. It’s easy to understand why 3 players are needed. Highly recommend this for any enthusiast. Definitely recommend keeping your eyes peeled
Ghost StoriesBrain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe room is very fun and surprisingly cute. Definitely not a true scary thriller room. It’s spooky themed with silly whimsical cuteness. Families can take their kids here without much worry, unless they are honest to goodness hardcore scaredy-cats 😸👻. Gameplay was very entertaining. The way the room is designed makes it very fun to stop by just play. No major rush to beat the clock, lots to do, and everything is somewhat guided. So very beginner friendly as well. I’d categorize the room more as one to do for fun with friends, not a hardcore competitive room. It’s nice to have rooms like this 😁 Only thing to mention is there is one part that requires a bit of climbing. Be careful not to trip 😅 100% highly recommend this room and the whole company! Easily one of the best top tier escape companies near LA! All the rooms they have are amazingly well designed, tricky but not overly difficult to impossible, and themed meticulously to the point of being truly immersed in each room. Don’t hesitate to stop by for an awesome time!

Definitely recommend 3 as a minimum. Puzzles were very on theme for the room and made sense with everything. Easy enough to piece together and great use of space Our GM, Joe was also a fun dude. Very happy to have him brief us and chat after the game. Everything about play that room was great!

Activate [Interactive Arcade]Activate - Culver CityEscape roomIRLNot an escape room but an interactive arcade. It’s the LED room you see in ads on social media. Visited multiple times. Has the LED floor room, plus several other games to play. Basketball, throwing, laser room (sooo much fun), color match room, and a couple more. No matter who goes there will be a couple rooms that will appeal to everyone. It gets crazy busy during the weekends. But weekdays are usually fine without too many crowds.
The Morning AfterPanIQ Room - West HollywoodEscape roomIRLThe room itself was a fine fun time, overall I’d rate 6.5/10 The props are pretty funny, and definitely understand why there’s an 18+ warning. Overall the room and gameplay are more basic compared to other escape room companies. There is a fair bit obvious gameplay. If you can piece things together then the room is actually fairly easy. It’s a fun room that’s great for something to do as a quick activity. Honestly, this nor any of Paniq’s rooms are great for big escape room enthusiasts One glaring complaint is the hint/clue system is horrendous. My partner and I got caught on one puzzle that ate up almost 10mins of time. We tried to communicate exactly what we had an issue with. But the hints given were clearly scripted. We only got hints for things we already completed, 3 times. Unhelpful and killed all momentum and fun. We kept trying to shout and point to the specific thing we were stuck on. But instead of getting any useful hint, so we could try and attempt ourselves, the GM just gave us the answer after the 4th time trying to communicate. That was a massive bummer and soured our experience. And this happened in another room as well
