Mission Control: Apollo 18Royal Caribbean - Oasis of the Seas ShipEscape roomIRLHonestly, for an escape room on a cruise ship it was very well done. The only real downside is they do put you up with other people, but if you’re looking to do an escape room on a cruise ship, you’re probably one of the people who are going to participate and not be terrible at it. And that was the case here really well done room lots of teamwork involved for our escape room on the cruise ship can’t really complain.
Operation Arctic Storm: The Final MeltdownThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLAbsolutely amazing theming! If atmosphere is top of your list do this room! Puzzles were very good and very cohesive. I’ve done a lot of the other rooms here as well excited to see what they build next!
Neighborhood WatcherThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLFantastic room! The actor was great and the puzzles were so well done! Done 3 escape room at this establishment and all of them were great. Excited to go back again and finish the last two rooms I have remaining.
Bros for Life: Fraternity HeistThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLTheming was great, the puzzles were well designed and super well thought out. Our GM was great and saw that our group were escape room enthusiasts and recommended some other rooms in the Orlando area to try as well. Definitely will come back to try the new Arctic room!
20,000 Leagues Under the SeaNovel EscapeEscape roomIRLThis place isn’t a big budget escape room like you see at other places. But it’s still one of my favorite rooms I’ve played. You can really tell that the room was designed as a labor of love and just the overall story telling and engagement of the room was overall fantastic. Highly recommend!
Zombie Apocalypse - CLOSEDAmerican Escape Rooms - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThis is probably the worst escape room I’ve done. The entire room is just locks that open other locks that open other locks. I really don’t mind locks at all, but when the entire game is just that it’s not a fun experience. Escaped and ended up very disappointed. For what it’s worth I’ve heard from friends that this is their worst room.
The Curse Of The Evil Genie - CLOSEDLocksmith Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThe staff were very friendly and I’ve heard that the other rooms here are a lot better. But the Genie room was not my favorite at all. It didn’t help that they needed to our fans in there because the room gets so hot.
Outage: No VacancyThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLThis room is fantastic. The latter half of the game played entirely in the dark will really test whether you brought the right group or not. And I’m glad I did because we nailed the dark part. Its so well themed and the dark puzzles were incredibly well thought out. Can’t wait to play more games here!
Prison BreakThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLI enjoyed the being separated from the beginning aspect. Some of the puzzles during the separation were really cool. The room was well done, and the puzzles were nice. I would give it a 8/10.
Murder In LondonMystique Escape RoomEscape roomIRLNot my favorite room at this place. But the theming was fantastic and the puzzles were good.
Puppet Heist: The Hand Of LifeThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLThis was a fun room. Really clever use of props I enjoyed it. My only complaint was some of the more intricate ways of using the props in this room is a bit tricky and wasted a bit of time. But the story was well done and I’d love to come back and play the other games.
Special Ops. Mysterious MarketThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLI really enjoyed the first half of this escape room. Physical objects and physical puzzles were great, unfortunately being a “spec ops” mission it basically turned into a video game for the second half and was a lot more techy.
Wizard’s TowerMystique Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe design and theming of this room is absolutely gorgeous. My only real complaint would be that the puzzles aren’t linear, so if you’re not used to that you will have to adapt. This room has one of the most creative puzzles I’ve ever encountered in any escape room. Really love it and is my favorite room at Mystique.
The HeistThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThis was my very first escape room and started this Hobby! It was a great room and looking back is still one of my fondest memories.
Nefarious Offering - CLOSEDTerror IsleEscape roomIRLI liked the room. I do have to be honest as I really like their other rooms a lot better though. My only one true complaint about this place is I wish every single member of the party got lanterns because it is really dark especially in this room. If you have a party of 4+ this room can be a tad difficult because it’s very narrow. I would give this room a 7/10. The highlight of this room is that I did find out about this app on this visit!
EnduranceLocktopia Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was a a decent room. It left me wanting a bit more though. For first timers, I would say you would enjoy it because the props and the set is really top notch. I remember there being one or two puzzles that were pretty good. I would say for seasoned players I would go elsewhere. 5/10.
Mystic Voyage - CLOSEDTerror IsleEscape roomIRLThis was probably my favorite room here. The theming was absolutely top notch and I really enjoyed the layout and uniqueness of the room. The puzzles were good, but the theme is what makes it great. Loved the theming so much my teammate and I decided to play a 2nd game right then and there. This room is a 8.5/10.
Dungeon Of The Drowned - CLOSEDTerror IsleEscape roomIRLI did this in June of 2021. I was with one other person and we did 2 rooms at this establishment back to back because we loved the theme of rooms and the attention to detail. My personal opinion is that this is my 2nd favorite room here. You are split in the first half of the game and the puzzles were quite good. I would give this room an 8/10.
Neon EscapeBreak Free Escape RoomEscape roomIRLPlayed this back in 2020 if I remember correctly. It might have possibly been a similar room because there was a ton of neon and black light but It was alright, would definitely go elsewhere.
