Dragon RealmMile High Escape OpsEscape roomIRLThis is an award winning room for a reason! Every detail is so well thought out and every puzzle while challenging, was completely logical. Every part of the room helped with the immersion. The gameplay is so unique and it's truly a stellar room. The game master (and co-owner) was also so sweet and has a clear love of escape rooms which is palpable in their offerings. 100% cannot recommend enough!
ContaminationMile High Escape OpsEscape roomIRLOh my goodness this was so much fun! Such cool and unique technology. From the room background to the ending there was a clear story that was super well done. There were some moments that felt a little drawn out, but I will say that is a nitpicky complaint. I am a self-admitted wimp around scares, so if you are too be prepared. This room is definitely not for the faint of heart. The puzzles made sense, but were still tricky, I would recommend to newer escapers only if they're looking to challenge themselves.
Becoming Butch Cassidy21 Keys Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was a blast...literally! Super cool mechanics and some interesting and unique puzzles (and a silly gag). The atmosphere felt so immersive and each turn of the room was something cool. I wouldn't say the puzzles are extremely hard, a lot of them are pretty traditional escape room puzzles, but there are a lot of them. Definitely a room for more experienced escapers because of the quantity, but even for experienced players, there's enough fun to keep it feeling new!
Back to the DinerGolden Puzzle RoomEscape roomIRLSuch a cute room! My group has done a lot of escape rooms, and there were a couple puzzles that were new and exciting even for us, as well as a ton of classic escape room puzzles. Everything felt cohesive and on theme and immersive. The game master was great too. The only complaint is the hourglass they give seems to not be very accurate, so I wish there was a different time keeping system. Definitely on the harder side so best for more experienced teams.
The Trailer Park TwisterClueology RoomsEscape roomIRLSuch a fun room. The themeing was excellent and so immersive, the puzzles were so unique and were clear and logical. Our group of three finished quickly, but have a lot of rooms under our belt. For newer escapers I would agree with the recommendation of at least four. There are some tight areas, but the room size and non-linear nature could be intimidating for less experienced groups. Totally recommend for any group though because it is just plain fun! And they have a prize wheel which is a fun little touch!
Bedlam21 Keys Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLI always love a split start room, and this one is no different. There were 3 of us and I honestly wouldn't recommend more than 5 or 6 people, depending on how close your group is, because both starting rooms are pretty small. The puzzles were logical and the atmosphere was immersive. Everything made sense and was executed well. There were some fun solves too! A little spooky, but not scary!
Mystical ManorThemescape Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLSuper cool room! There were quite a few do not touch stickers which personally takes away from some of the immersion, but overall the puzzles and gags were fun. There was one thing that happens that has a delayed reaction time so noticing that something has changed is tricky for it, but a solid room. The game masters were also super nice!
The Rocky Mountain ZephyrGolden Puzzle RoomEscape roomIRLNothing super special about this room, BUT it was a great classic escape room. Logical puzzles and fun story, it was simple and still a good all around room. Would recommend for beginners and seasoned pros alike!
The Hollywood Mystery: A Room NoirConundrum Escape Rooms - ArvadaEscape roomIRLWhat an awesome little room. There are so many cute and clever gags and clues. Definitely a great beginner room! I cannot recommend the rooms and Conundrum more!! Everything is themed and the puzzles make logical sense and are just plain fun. Great all around!!
The ReelPuzzle Effect - DenverEscape roomIRLOverall the atmosphere of the game was wonderful. It was super immersion and the puzzles fit in universe. There weren't very many puzzles, but they all made sense when you thought about them. Not a beginner room, but not insanely difficult. The one thing that took away from the experience was unfortunately the game masters. We got two hints, one at the beginning that wasn't helpful, but it was timely. The second hint was near the end and we spent 1 full minute trying to get it. Then once we escaped we waited for a while before someone finally came to get us. Everyone has off days, but they were monotone in "congratulating" us and honestly sucked the energy out of the room. Overall a solid room, but there are definitely some kinks that still need worked.
