We prefer original games, but this one was a step above the one we played before as far as atmosphere goes. The place also reeked of weed when we finished our game and thought someone working there was either smoking in the building with a pen or just outside before coming back in. Not professional at all

The lockbox wasn’t even locked after we spent 15 minutes trying to type in the correct square footage of the place… lol. Our game master was really nice and helpful however. Some of the puzzles didn’t even work for the game master, so the company should put a little more love and life in to this room. 2/10

We were told during our last visit here that this new room was NOT the same as the other company, and it was almost an exact replica. Not only that, but there were some tech issues on top of that which just completely ruined the experience for us. Baiting players to spend money here by assuring them that it’s a different experience than Sanford is giving greed over integrity. Not cute.

However, this was the exact same room as the fisherman room that was in place before with a lot of the same puzzles. If you’ve done fisherman with escape goat, you maybe also be a bit disappointed. Coming in to this game with no prior knowledge of the room before would have been 10/10!

This room was advertised as “Florida’s biggest escape room” which was untrue and a false marketing tactic. If you want big rooms, try Escape Ventures or several other local companies. Today was unfortunately our last game at this location because we’ve slowly discovered that the bad rooms here outnumber the good. Temple Of The Skull in particular had technical issues and puzzles that were just overly hard and didn’t make sense. There was a hidden arrow in the dark pointing to a major factor in the game play that is literally impossible to see without help. The puzzles in the last room also made absolutely zero sense, so we left scratching our heads. 2/10 only because the set design was pretty in one of the rooms. Save your time.

Wrongfully ConvictedThe Escape RevolutionEscape roomIRLHaving done over 100 rooms, this one impressed us once we began. However, our game master was a little condescending from the very beginning and pretty rude. He also started our time during the briefing while he was explaining everything and when we asked why it was apparently “normal” and how they always run their rooms. This was a pretty horrible approach because what if parties had questions or newbies needed further explanation? It took him almost 10 minutes to explain everything so we ended up doing a 50 minute game. You should advertise that your games aren’t actually 1 hour. Just beware if you come to this location and hopefully “Rudy” “Rory” will be in a better mood tomorrow.

There was a puzzle in this room that was just not clicking for our party. When we asked about it at the end after not escaping, apparently “every group that day failed on that puzzle” So… take it out or change it? Lol Otherwise this company did a great job

Nightmare HotelGame Over Escape Rooms - OrlandoEscape roomIRLMeh… Somewhere in between with this room. It was totally immersive, and had some great ideas. Props however weren’t working and you had to manually open things that should have been automatic once a puzzle was completed correctly. Once these small hiccups are fixed this room will be great.
