The Amulet of TimeMystic Escape Room - LittletonEscape roomIRLOne thing Mystic’s Littleton location does very well is utilize limited space effectively. Both games I’ve played here so far have made the most of a fairly small area while still feeling like I’m progressing and not just staying in one place. This one was a pretty solid bread-and-butter escape room. It’s not that flashy but it’s really good. Puzzles are fun and just challenging enough.
Scrooge: the Search for Holiday SpiritConundrum Escape Rooms - ArvadaEscape roomIRLSo refreshing to play a Christmas-themed room that had nothing to do with finding a missing/hidden Nice List. Scrooge instead of Santa. And frankly, the overall story gimmick was really neat and my whole group loved the experience. Good blend of opening padlocks and other types of puzzles. Would 100% recommend!
Mystic ChamberConundrum Escape Rooms - LakewoodEscape roomIRLOverall, a solid room. One thing that’s less apparent from the story on the website until you get playing is that it’s lightly comedic. Yes, there are stakes and it’s somewhat a serious situation described, but the character of the antagonist is played as a bit less menacing and a bit more bumbling - which is NOT a complaint, it was fun and made us all laugh, but I think we were expecting a straight horror/suspense room and got a bit more PG-13 YA villain. Again, totally fine, zero complaints, just understand it’s more light-hearted than the summary may lead you to believe.
