Treasure IslandBrain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was incredibly immersive and delightfully funny. Every detail was incredible down to a hilarious clue system. There is a lot to do but the floor is well laid out and there are guides to help you stay on track. Genuinely one of the most well planned rooms I’ve done. (This was #207 for me)
L'entrepôt Fantastique [The Fantastic Warehouse]Pandore & AssociésEscape roomIRLSuch a fun room! The actor was great - hilarious and helpful! A great variety of puzzles, scenes, and experiences. We are still giggling over a particular scene several days later.
Addams Mansion: Wednesday's ExperimentRed Giant Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis room had a fun storyline and decent atmosphere. It’s definitely low tech with the the majority of puzzles being combination locks. Our live actress, Mary, did a great job staying in character and helping us successfully reach the room goals. The game master told us there were over 50 puzzles in the room, there’s no way we could have escaped without Mary helping us narrow down which codes to try with which locks. Normally I rate rooms that are primarily combo locks with a dislike, but Mary kept the fun going and we all ended up enjoying ourselves.
Secrets Of The MayaEscapismEscape roomIRLI’m so happy to have some well done rooms coming to Utah. The decor was on point and not a single combination lock!! All in all the room probably needed a couple more puzzles to keep enthusiasts feeling like it could last long enough, but the puzzles it had were all enjoyable.
Hope EndThe Ministry Of PeculiaritiesEscape roomIRLThis was my 178th room and is easily in my top 3 experiences. The staff were all so great, and definitely added to the ambiance in the best of ways.
Percy Pendleton's Peculiar PredicamentEscape Quest United KingdomEscape roomIRLPercy’s Predicament was a delightful experience in every way. Right from the start, it’s a fun entry way and a welcoming lobby. The room owners are kind and very invested in you having a great experience. The room is designed for everyone to be able to enjoy it, there is a main goal that can either take you the whole time or you can solve quickly depending on your experience and skill level. Once the main goal is achieved there are plenty of puzzles left to keep you working and happy clear up to the very last second. We played with three of our kids aged 11-17 and everyone was busy working and solving puzzles without bottle necking, wandering aimlessly, or getting frustrated. If they couldn’t figure out a puzzle there was another one to try instead. Overall a great family room and a wonderful experience.
Sugar RushLegacy Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLSuch a cute room to do with my elementary aged kids. Not all of the puzzles flowed well, but still a wonderful memory. A very very cute theme.
The Tipsy TailorIntrepid Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLVery combo lock heavy room, but had enough clever puzzles that it wasn’t annoying. The decor was well done and it has a unique theme. Overall a great experience.
Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game - Rancho Cucamonga [prev. at San Bernardino]Escape roomIRLVery fun time travel room with clever puzzles, great decor, and consistent theming.
Smite Sherlock - CLOSEDRush To EscapeEscape roomIRLThe price point made me think this would be a higher quality room. It was very handmade with only a handful of higher tech puzzles, most of which weren’t working well. The game master was kind and helpful.
Paradox | The Incredible Time MachineRabbit Hole Recreation ServicesEscape roomIRLA fantastic room! We loved the ambiance and the puzzles. I’ve played a lot of time travel-esque rooms and I can’t think of one I enjoyed more than this.
Frost Base ZRabbit Hole Recreation ServicesEscape roomIRLOut of the three rooms at rabbit hole this is my least favorite. The immersion was incredible, and has some very fun elements. This room has several number locks, which factors into my lower rating, the other rooms are higher tech. But still, it’s a great room and had some very unique puzzles.
Lunar Escape - CLOSEDMission EscapesEscape roomIRLThis is a very fun homemade room. The puzzles are great and you can tell a lot of careful thought went into designing them. There were some very unique aspects to this room and I enjoyed the flow very much.
Ruins of the Mystic TempleRabbit Hole Recreation ServicesEscape roomIRLThis is such a great room!! The immersion is impeccable, the puzzles are unique, the flow is great, and it is a great challenge without leaving you feeling frustrated. Rabbit Hole is amazing from the moment you step into the lobby. This company is what all escape rooms aspire to be.
War for the GalaxyEpic Escape Game - South DenverEscape roomIRLMy husband and I did this for his 200th room. He’s a huge Star Wars fan (check out his millennium falcon movie theater he built for our home on TikTok at @LawJedi to get a glimpse at his nerd credibility). We were hoping that this room would be a great way to celebrate this 200th milestone. It’s a cute room that is handmade with love. We enjoyed our time overall, but it would have been nice to see more technical puzzles verses searching for tons of four digit combinations when we are saving the galaxy!
Atlantis: The Forgotten CityHypnotic Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLI really enjoyed this room, and I was very impressed. The puzzles were immersive and stayed true to the setting. It was a high tech and creative experience. This one is for sure in the favorites list!
IllusionTimed OutEscape roomIRLOverall a fun room. The decor was great and there was one puzzle we’ve never seen before. It was a very 4/5 digit lock heavy room which was frustrating at times. Our game master was great and attentive which helped. A fun room for enthusiasts but I think it would be frustrating for anyone newish to escape games, there were just too many lock options.
Jurassic ToursNW Escape ExperienceEscape roomIRLSuch a fun idea! My 12 year old son is obsessed with Jurassic Park so we knew we couldn’t miss this room while passing through town. The room was highly recommended and it had great theming. There weren’t enough puzzles to keep us busy (two adults and two kids), we finished very quickly. It’s definitely a room ideal for a 2 player team.
London Fog: The Mists of TimeThe EntrapmentEscape roomIRLSuch a FUN room!!! We loved it! There was a lot to do, but my husband and I were still able to get out in the nick of time. This is a room I’ve recommended to all our enthusiast friends!
The Bayou: The Legend of the Midnight RavenThe EntrapmentEscape roomIRLThe first half of the room was by far my favorite! There is a lot of automated narration, so pay attention the first time because doing things over to review the clues eats up your time. The second half of the experience was not our favorite and required a ton of reading, which is very frustrating when you’re on a time crunch. My husband has done nearly 200 rooms and I’m close to 150 so we have a pretty good feel for pacing ourselves. This experience had enough puzzles for two typical rooms so you’ll need to hurry faster than you think to finish.
