The Butcher ShopMayday Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLProbably one of my favourite rooms of all time! Again, I loved the history of the space, and the puzzles were great. This was a good level of scary.
CurioEscape Rooms CanberraEscape roomIRLI love a magic trick at the best of times, so this was right up my alley. Super cute to play. All the rooms here are super linear, I think they'd be quite boring with more than 2/3 people.
The ArtefactNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was my second favourite at Next Level, I had a great time. It’s apparently their hardest room which I didn’t feel was the case. The variety of puzzles was fantastic and easy to follow. It allowed enough room to stop and think without being overly complicated. The way they incorporated the live actor in this story was one of my favourites.
End of the RoadNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLI liked the concept a lot, and the set was well designed. It was pretty mild on the zombies for a zombie themed room, it was more of a military mission room instead! The live actor character is very high energy and I think you need to be in the right mood to really enjoy that. They were great but it was a bit much at times.
Forest of EchoesNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLObsessed. This was my first play at Next Level and still stands as my favourite. As well as an absolutely stunning set, the way they’ve incorporated the live actor is incredible, and really adds to the story. This was tricky with 2 people but thoroughly worth it.

It’s divided into a main quest with optional side quests, but the main quest isn’t crazy hard so it’s relatively easy to complete everything. It’s very non-linear so there’s a lot of back and forth, but in a good way, you never feel like you’re retracing your steps or doing the same thing over and over.
The VaultEscape Rooms CanberraEscape roomIRLThis was fun. Some entertaining puzzles if you get into the theme and story. And the last space was great, by far my favourite. Allegedly their hardest room; I'd probably rank them all equally in terms of difficulty, and not particularly difficult at that. Again, small space and linear puzzles. Go for a small group.
The PharmacyMayday Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLLove love love. The way the history of the space and building has been incorporated into the game makes this a favourite of mine. The owners are also wonderful and so welcoming.
