Witchly Ever AfterOmescape - San JoseEscape roomIRLA perfect family escape room. Great one to take your kids, though the puzzles aren’t actually that easy so you may want them to be a bit older (10+). Theme is wonderful and really enhances the experience. My only negative is one of the puzzles has a bit of “guess what we were thinking” which I dislike.

Excellent theme and story and very clever and unique puzzle mechanics (hard to say more without spoilers). Definitely should try this one. It is on the harder side so not as good for beginners.

The Dark RoomCognition EscapesEscape roomIRLThe least fun escape room I’ve ever done. You basically stumble around in the dark looking for tiny things and if you miss one you probably can’t solve the puzzle. The dim light gave me eye strain, it was barely even possible to read the numbers on the combination locks. Was only able to escape because I brute force guessed multiple puzzle answers, which is unsatisfying. Also the story was essentially nonexistent. Would highly recommend you avoid this one unless you find torture fun.
