This was our favorite room of the three we did with this company. The GM felt a little over handed with the hints and we got out with almost 10 minutes left, the GM came in as an actor mid game and hinted us through a few puzzles we didnt really need hints for. The room had a TON of puzzles which made it a fairly hard room and we saw a lot of neat set design stuff we havent seen before. The story was fun and interesting and the decor was basic felt like it was well designed for the room.

This room was much better than we were expecting when we booked it it also happened to be much harder than we were expecting. The GM Was great and we needed 2 hints to get out of there with 2 minutes to spare as a group of 2. What we really liked about this room is that we saw a bunch of new puzzles that we have never seen before. All in all we were very surprised by how well this company put together the 3 rooms we did with them,

De Gouden Kooi

The decor was amazing and what I would expect from our other experiences with De Gouden Kooi this was definitely their largest room yet. However we felt that the puzzles while on theme and matching decor and storyline were not very well thought out or complex. Every puzzle we saw was something that you see in every other room. De Gouden Kooi spent an incredible amount of time designing and building this room but seem to have given little thought to the actual puzzles. Some of this feedback is based on the expectations of their other rooms and that they are going for a top rated room for Europe. However other side of the very well done decor and room size there really wasn't anything special here at all. The puzzles were simple and more of just something to slow you down for a minute to look around.

A fun if not very easy room. There was a lot of searching required and we did overthink one puzzle and get stuck on it for a few minutes before we said to ourselves we are overthinking this. Theming was fun if not a bit dated of a gen 2 room with a lot of locks. Overall I did enjoy it as I normally enjoy the pirate rooms. It could have used a few more puzzles and a bit more difficulty but was a breeze with 2 people.

A great little escape room in dunkirk. Emma was our GM and was fantastic start to finish. We played the room in English and had no problems. The room felt a little dated but it was better than most smaller town escape games. Decor was was done if not a bit old and puzzles were all creative and fun. If you find yourself in the area I can recommend doing this room and potentially checking out others from the same company. Room was on the easier side of medium and we had no trouble escaping although we did get an unsolicited hint or two that we likely would have been stuck on for a few more minutes. Great room for 2 experienced people or larger new group. There is required crawling for all team members

This was a decent room that was hampered by an overworked GM. They had a single GM overseeing 4 rooms at once which made for a rocky game. Overall we didn’t feel the room was hard by any means and it didn’t feel very dated at all. The puzzles were interesting but a couple required doing things that other escape rooms specifically tell you not to, which would have benefited from minor design choices to make those items more clear. Overall a decent room but certainly not anything overly memorable

What a fantastic room and worthy of its fame. Our GM was especially great even when the entire computer system crashed and we had to wait 10 minutes for it to get fixed we still enjoyed the decor and checking things out. We saw a bunch of new puzzle designs and the room felt more solid and like a real place then a constructed set. I think that is owed a lot to the use of real wood and metal all over. The GM communication system was also really fun and clever. A very solid loved it from us. We played as a couple with advanced notice they can gave the room setup for 2 and it didnt feel like too much of a rush or time crunch. Despite the computer crash we still felt this was a near perfect game

A very challenging room with 2 people apparently we were the first people to escape on time that day. Available in English, GM team very welcoming and friendly. This was a really neat room using actual WWII historic items. The room was very difficult especially with 2 people, its a fairly large space and required some searching for items. Some of the puzzles we challenging. The decor was well thought out and the room was a lot more professional feeling than we expected for a smaller town venue. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and wish this company had more than 2 rooms that we did in English.
