96 escape rooms
Great set decoration with terrific use of historical detail. Excellent puzzle flow as well. I have to give a special nod to our GM Jack, who was clearly watching closely-- he gave exactly the right nudges at exactly the right times. And he was knowledgable and passionate about the game as well. Also, I want to praise the game for giving us the best set of flashlights I've encountered in an escape room. They were small and lightweight but very bright. I wish other rooms with atmospheric lighting would follow their lead! (I realise that’s a small, almost trivial detail, but it’s indicative of the overall attention to detail that made this room so great.) All in all, one of my favorite games in the UK.

There was a decent amount of escape room logic-- but nonetheless, the story was better integrated (and had a more emotionally satisfying conclusion) than 95% of the escape rooms I've done.

We did it with a team of 2 (including one very experienced player who had done 270+ games) and we finished just in time. Another set of eyes would have been helpful. However, there isn't a huge amount of physical space in the game and I think more than 3 players woud have been a little cramped.

Certain items had broken off one puzzle. I’m not going to get in a stew over this because it was clear from context what they were supposed to be. But in a game where there’s not muchroom for improvement, this was a surprising lapse.

One player needs to be able to do some climbing. There was a fair amount of dim lighting but we were given excellent flashlights.
