Lockbuster Video60 to Escape - SchaumburgEscape roomIRLThis is a really nice room! Was able to solve it with two people. My only complaint is that the animatronic Mr. Manager talks a little too much. It’s very cool to watch him talk and gives you a little bit of rest time; it just felt like he was taking up too much time. The use of technology was great and nothing too difficult. Fun play that required teamwork to solve and left me wanting more! They also gave us free stickers :)
The Secret At Whitmore EstateBreaking Point Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLGood room. We (3 of us) got stuck on one of the puzzles and weren't able to escape. The puzzles were good, but the second room didn't really add anything to the story/experience. There were a little too many numeric codes/locks for our liking. Still the room has a nice atmosphere.
WarlockedQuest Room - Redondo BeachEscape roomIRLBrilliant room! Played this room with 2 players, I would say 3 would be the perfect size. If you play, I really hope you get AJ, she was awesome and very friendly. I will say if you don’t like receiving hints this isn’t the room for you. They say at the beginning of the game that basically you will go through the whole experience and the GM guides you with direction (not really solving the puzzles for you, but directing you to what puzzle to solve next). Go into this room with an open mind and you will be pleasantly surprised. Each part of this room was beautifully decorated, and had a unique personality. There were 2 puzzles with some technical issues and the room is pretty nonlinear, so I would just switch to another puzzle if you run into that issue.
Red GiantQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLGood room. It definitely relies a lot on the scenic design. I will say one of the puzzles was really frustrating and I think it might be near impossible without a hint. Additionally the room wasn't super straightforward. The special effects in this room were great. There are better rooms in the area that are more affordable.

The first room is done very well with the second room being too touchscreen media based for my liking. The puzzles were fun and not too difficult. We (3 of us) were paired with 2 others. Fun game definitely worth it for the first room's set design.
TombstoneMaze Rooms - West LAEscape roomIRLGreat room! I have nothing bad to say about this room. Was able to complete with 2 people and 3 might be the max I would recommend. The game master gave us lanterns, so we had no issues with it being dark as others have mentioned.
Magic KingdomMaze Rooms - VermontEscape roomIRLFun room. Very whimsical with a bunch of magical creatures you get to have satisfying interactions with. I would give a little bit more background around the wands at the beginning of the room to help the users interact with them and understand that there are different rooms for each element, but other than that the room was great. Not super linear or straight forward, but still fun!
Sky OdysseyMaze Rooms - VermontEscape roomIRLI loved it. It was a super cool room with a lot of Greek Mythology details, like we were in the Lightning Thief Series. Don’t worry too much about the reviews that had issues with the audio as we didn’t have any of those issues just don’t press more than one “speaker” button at a time if you are worried about them talking over each other. A very creative room with great set design/transitions. If I had one complaint, it’s that one of the “vases” didn’t look like a vase so we didn’t know to put another object in there, but other than that we had a great time.
