We are very glad we read some reviews on Morty that recommended this room and would encourage others to go and try out The Cool Space! The puzzles and storyline worked well with the team being seated throughout and allowed for some great lighting effects and role play as we progressed through the challenges at Abercrombie’s Mansion. The game engaged our senses and kept us entertained as a team of two for close to the full hour with a successful escape. Josh was a great host and happy to engage with us at the end to discuss and share our enthusiasm for escape rooms 👍🏻🤩

Chamber Of HocusBreakout Avenue KEscape roomIRLA different type of clue system over an app that opens from scanning a QR code. It was pretty good except that it didn’t work at times, but they at least have a button to call for the game master who was very attentive. The room was good fun and if I hadn’t of been alone I think an escape would have been easily doable. At least one unique puzzle style that I had not seen before which was nice.
Post MortemBreakout Avenue KEscape roomIRLThis room was challenging as a solo player. It had puzzles to solve as well as questions to determine the answers to based on the game masters introduction. It was hard to fully remember everything they had said, especially when typically rooms I have done will always have the pertinent information available in the room, not just verbal at the start. I felt there was at least one puzzle that was very difficult to follow the logic for and was hindered by Perspex that was scratched which limited vision to read the chart behind it.

I liked that we needed to use lots of props from various rooms at different stages, it made you really think and pay attention.

We were successful when we came back with two friends a second time. Lots of clever use of space and great theme/props.

As a two person team the rooms were challenging within the 60 mins but the props and set up were great and the puzzles were logical.
