I don't really like that, but other than that I really liked this room. In the final room there is a puzzle that has genuinely been my favorite pizzle at an escape room. Anything over 6 people will feel very crowded.
Out of TimeBlack Mountain EscapeEscape roomIRLWow!! This was such a fun room. From the decorations, the puzzles, to the acting involved I was obsessed from the beginning. About 5 hours away from where I live and I will most definitely be making the journey to come back. The building is so beautiful, you wouldn't have known it might have been damaged back during Helene. The only complaint I have is one of the puzzles involves a lot of staring at a light that isn't necessarily flashing like a strobe, but is repeating enough I couldn't participate. Regardless, I still had enough to do even if I couldn't participate with that part. We had a group of 6 which definitely felt like the perfect amount, especially since it was 1 player's first room.
The Legend Of AtlantisBackstage Escape GamesEscape roomIRLPerhaps this room just simply wasn't for me, I can absolutely admit I am not the best at escape rooms. All the rooms seem to have a book you need to read to help through out the room to know where to go, which is fine but a little boring in my opinion. They also highly encourage you to have as many people as the room can hold and I unfortunately only played with 3 (myself, my father, and another family member). To be honest we're all big individuals so I don't know how well it would have gone if we had more. The first room is tiny and then leads you into a tiny but long hallway. I understood we were going to struggle and probably not escape, but I was there to have fun so if I didn't escape that was okay. As cool as some of the puzzles were, some felt like there was a little more explaining needed to get you to actually do what was required. There is a puzzle that involves colors but it's pretty lengthy... and I'm color blind, my father as well. That would have been fine but the lights in the room over the puzzle were some varying colors which made it even harder to see them. It wasn't a puzzle that could be explained away with hints as you had to physically move items. It was a very cool theme and maybe if we had an extra person we could have escaped, but the fact you have to follow the book throws me off.
