Titkos Metró [Secret Subway]
E-Exit Escape Room Budapest
Escape room

I’m 64 rooms in at this point, and Secret Subway is one of the best I’ve ever done. Trust me, do it.

Really loved this room (along with The Adventure Begins). The rooms are built more around incredibly satisfying puzzles and gameplay than they are around FX and flashiness, and they make great use of practical, tactile elements (which also feel thematically fitting with the WWII settings). Our game master, Sarah, was also wonderful.

Great and challenging room—layered puzzles, fun gamemaster interaction system, lots of detail and little surprises.

One of my favorites. Many escape rooms—even great ones—fall into familiar genres and themes, but this is one of the ones that are just totally unique. In turn, the puzzles, which are shaped around the room’s concept, are also unique. Maybe not the most challenging room overall, but the puzzles are still solid and satisfying, and it’s a blast.

This was a cool room, especially if you’re keening for some period nostalgia. I didn’t actually like it as much as Maze Rooms’ Avalanche, with which it has some similarities, but it definitely has its own fun twists and turns.

This was the best prison-themed room I’ve done. Just super immersive, with a lot of really good practical puzzle solving and a great use of space.

A really beautifully rendered, creative room that isn’t really like any other escape room I’ve done. I love the roll that painting and color play in the design and concept, as well.

Certainly on the slightly easier side, although the puzzles are lots of fun. What sets this room apart is the inventiveness of the design and the leaps it takes. Some people here seem to want a more linear, logical story, but that seems limiting as a necessity—the story here does make sense, it’s just one that proceeds according to a different sort of logic. And the end result is a unique room.

Really fun room, with a clear, crisp flow and some very fun surprises.

Probably my favorite zombie-themed room, because of a series of really diverse and satisfying puzzles. Good production design, though nothing too flashy—the focus is on the puzzles.
