Lost in the ShuffleSpencer is PuzzlingEscape roomTabletopa very well done experience. I don’t want to say too much but it’s well crafted with much attention to detail. some puzzles are set up so well that i think about them to this day still. if you’re reading this review, this is your sign to just get it.
The Medusa ReportDiorama OnlineEscape roomTabletopanother great game from Diorama. the puzzles had a very natural flow to it, with a handful of surprises and creative twists and turns along the way. i love the way they can make you realize something you had a passing thought about 30 minutes ago was the setup for a whole other puzzle later on. the whole game feels like an ‘aha’ moment in the best way.
The Curious Stairs of Mr. HincksBluefish GamesEscape roomTabletopa cute prequel experience to Elevator of Mr. Hincks. not necessary to the parent game but a few puzzles in this experience has merit to them and if you buy it in a bundle deal with their other games, I think it’s a worthy addition.
AdriftPostCuriousEscape roomTabletopa beautiful experience. an impressive way how puzzles between art and poetry can be weaved together. my first experience with Post Curious and it makes me excited for their other games!
Madok's Lost TreasureSociety Of CuriositiesEscape roomTabletopi’m overly impressed with game given how immersive it becomes with very little when it comes into props, papers and pieces. everything given is just enough as well as given such a proper focus to the details that it can vaguely feel believable when playing. the communication system through SMS and the web media involved makes this whole experience feel like you’re actually in an adventure and not playing a boxed game.
Unlock! The Adventures of OzSpace CowboysEscape roomTabletopalmost a perfect adventure in the unlock! franchise. many good puzzles, satisfying secrets, engaging finales and a deserving ending. the additional props add to the experiences and it’s a successful addition to the wizard of oz ip. it’s rated high on Morty for a reason, give it a shot if you’re curious!
The Hincks Gazette: Vol. 1, Issue 5: AugustBluefish GamesEscape roomTabletopthe format and solving path for these games are among my most favorite when it comes to paper or envelope experiences. the introduction to the possibilities you can achieve in the medium have inspired me greatly when it comes to thinking outside of the box with puzzle development and i have nothing but good things to say about this subscription series

EXIT: The Game - Advent Calendar - The Silent StormThames & KosmosEscape roomTabletopi love puzzles that have you around something until you’re told to do something new with it. this book was 24 days of manipulating the same item over and over again which i felt only got better over time
Mother Of Frankenstein: Volume 1Hatch Escapes - OnlineEscape roomTabletopan original concept to a puzzle game. an interesting concept for a puzzle system and creative execution for the main puzzle of the volume. the scale of it made it feel more grand than other experiences. i also enjoyed finding the subtlety of the puzzles and quality of the game as a whole. this is also the first of three. so i would suggest to play if you planned to continue with the narrative
