7 Deadly SinsEscapology - Orland ParkEscape roomIRLOverall the facility as a whole was cool, the waiting room was super cute and well decorated and both game masters we interacted with were awesome and super helpful. Unfortunately our GM being super helpful came in very handy as we had to use many hints to figure out how to decipher the codes for many locks. Several of the puzzles have very round about ways of getting your code, one of which even after being given the answer we still had zero clue how the puzzle could give that answer.In short the escape room was okay the room felt very cookie cutter and not super original, the room was very dark and hard to find small details with the very dim flashlight provided but at the end of the day did fill the “find code, open lock, complete task” minimum of an escape room.
The WizardMaster Mind Escape The Room GameEscape roomIRLRoom itself was a fun theme I liked the styling of the room. However that was ab where the nice stopped the room was not very well cared for with several parts of the room being broken the puzzle portions did technically work but not well and all in all portions of the room made very little sense. Absolutely loved the idea of the room however it needs a lot of tlc and a couple puzzles need to be rethought (smelling objects does not make for a good puzzle if the smells are all similar).
