Mogollon Monster: Scouting for Arizona's Bigfoot

The Nemesis Club

Escape room
IRL

This room was AMAZING! The set design was immaculate and the use of multiple effects truly made you feel like a monster was truly after you. Definitely one of the harder rooms I’ve completed but the payoff at the end was definitely worth all the hard work. I played this with just my dad and there were a lot of searching aspects that would be suited for at least 4-5 people like their recommendations. Mogollon Monster is well worth the hype and accolades! Oh and their shakes afterwards are KILLER!

Nightmare Hotel

Game Over Escape Rooms - Clearwater

Escape room
IRL

This game is in my top 10 games! I absolutely loved every aspect of this game. My absolute favorite part was the vanishing room. I have been thinking about it for over a week now and still can’t wrap my head around the mechanics. Puzzles and ambience was stellar and our GM Marty was absolutely wonderful! She ran 3/4 of our games at this location and is one of the best Game Masters I’ve ever had run out games.

The Satirical Miracle: A Jolly Tale Of Granny's Blackmail

The Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford Lakes

Escape room

This room was so fun! Escape Ventures continues to be the best in the area with this adorable Christmas room. The puzzles and game flow was amazing and this is great for small groups and families.

Alice In Wonderland

Game Over Escape Rooms - Clearwater

Escape room

Game Over is one of my favorite venues! This room is pretty immersive and perfect for families! So cute and had really cool uses of technology!

Carter's Haberdashery And The Curse Of The Ancient Gold

Escape Artists - Sanford

Escape room
IRL

This game is so far my favorite of this venue! It had amazing set design, fun and unique puzzles, and satisfying reveals! Definitely my favorite archeology/ancient civilization room I’ve done. As almost always with Escape Artists, our GM Freddy was awesome and was really helpful throughout our games. Can’t wait to go back and play Protocol Zero.

Secret Society

Escape Artists - Sanford

Escape room
IRL

This game is pretty fun! Full of active puzzles and cool set design. My only thing is that the set seemed a bit inconsistent on if it was supposed to be a silly/fun room or a serious/scary room. Either way, we had an absolute blast and our GM Freddy was great!

Omega Mart [Immersive Art]

Meow Wolf

Escape room
Other

Before I start praising this place, I just want to say that I wouldn’t personally call this a escape room. It’s more of a open-ended immersion experience/walkthrough. With that being said, Omega Mart was the HIGHLIGHT of my Vegas trip. The creators at MeowWolf were able to make an amazing world(s) feel so real and really hone in on commentary of the American grocery store and it’s consumerism. For planning your trip, I’d recommend planning about 3-4 hours to fully explore. I was there for about 4 hours and covered everything. 4 hours for sure if you want to spend time at their bar. I also recommend getting the $3 OM employee card so you can go on missions and unlock the lore of the weird store. 11 out of 10 stars and I look forward to experiencing their other permanent installations.

Crazy Train: The Ballad of Skeemin' Plotz

Doldrick's Escape Room

This room was well worth the wait! The set design is straight out of an old Disney Cartoon and the game play is top-tier! My absolute favorite at this venue and probably one of my favorite games overall!

This room is so cute! Very well designed room with so much care put into the story. Loved how gen 2/3 this room was and had really cool usage of tech. While this might be a touch on the easier side for bigger groups, I think this is satisfyingly challenging for groups of 2-3 and/or newer enthusiasts. GM’s were sweet and would love to try out their other rooms on my next trip to San Fran. :)
