Toy Shop of TerrorEnchambered Live Escape Room AdventureEscape roomIRLThis review is specifically for the Toy Shop of Terror October overlay. This room was a disappointment. I suggest waiting until the normal toy shop is back since that one gets such good reviews (although I have not personally tried it). A big part of the early game puzzling was finding objects hidden around the room, which is not my preference, because you never know if you should still be looking or if more items will be provided by solving future puzzles. It was not well sign-posted when things were solvable and when we tried to ask if we had all the pieces we needed for a solve it was almost impossible to hear the hints over the ambient noise in the room. The room is also quite small and does not expand so I wouldn't recommend this with more than three people. We did The Collection here and found it innovative and fun so this was a let down!

I wouldn't say the puzzles were the best I've ever seen, but the room decor was incredibly well done and the combo of being served cocktails throughout and the live actor made it definitely stand out amongst the rooms we have done. The actor in particular was funny and fun to interact with.
