The Great Gamenight EscapeCodebusters 2 Escape RoomEscape roomIRLCodebusters does it again!! Fun room that flows really well, on the easier side but still has some puzzles that stumped my team. Truly felt like you stepped into a board game. 10/10
Dark Heart of the Hotel - Chapter 2303 Escape - Denver Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWe first played Chapter 1 while on vacation back in December, and after moving to Colorado, Chapter 2 quickly jumped to the top of our “must-play” list. It did not disappoint. We were fully immersed from start to finish—the set design was incredibly detailed, and 303 clearly has escape rooms down to a science. What really stands out is how they deliver a truly intense, adrenaline-pumping horror experience without relying on cliché jump scares or over-the-top live actors. It’s immersive, smart, and so well done. We absolutely love these games and can’t wait for Chapter 3. One of our all-time favorite companies—100% recommend.
Ten Days in a MadhouseClueClock EscapeEscape roomIRLWe love ClueClock and truly enjoyed our experience, shoutout to the amazing game masters who were all so kind and welcoming! The gameplay in this room started off a bit tricky, as it was hard to pinpoint the main objective at first. That said, there were some really unique puzzles that stood out, and once things started to click in the second half, the experience became a lot of fun. We really enjoyed the storyline and can’t wait to come back for the last two games!
Alien EscapeClueClock EscapeEscape roomIRLWe had a great time in this room and really appreciated the creative use of space, immersive set design, and unique puzzles. The game flowed nicely and included some fun, unexpected moments that kept us engaged. The attention to detail and thoughtful layout made for a really enjoyable experience. Definitely a solid choice for anyone who enjoys sci-fi themes and clever design!
The Sacred Lotus - CLOSED21 Keys Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLOh my goodness, this room BLEW MY MIND. There was so much to do, as a team of three we really had to divide and conquer. Some of the most unique puzzles I’ve ever seen and incredibly detailed set design. Super sad this room is going away, definitely play before they remodel!
Chocolate FactoryEnter The Enigma [prev. Aha! Escape Rooms]Escape roomIRLWe were excited to try the Willy Wonka-themed room at Aha!, but our experience was a bit mixed. When we arrived, the atmosphere in the lobby felt chaotic—game masters were laying on the floor, shouting and laughing, which left our team confused and gave off an unprofessional first impression. Unfortunately, the room hadn’t been fully reset before our game, and we missed two key puzzles as a result. Clues also took several minutes to come through, which added to our frustration and disrupted the overall flow of the game. That said, the set design in the first half of the room was fun and visually engaging. However, the second half felt disjointed and left us unsure of how to proceed. While we appreciated the creativity behind the concept, this particular experience didn’t quite meet our expectations
Space: Knocked Off CourseCodebusters Escape RoomEscape roomIRLSpace: Knocked Off Course was way more intense than I expected—in the best way possible! The immersion and atmosphere were a 10/10, with high-tech elements that truly made us feel like we were in deep space. The puzzles were creative and unique, with some mechanics I’d never seen before. With so much to do, I’d highly recommend playing with a team of three to fully experience everything this room has to offer. An absolute must-play for sci-fi fans and puzzle lovers alike!
Overnight at the MuseumCodebusters Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis game was a blast from start to finish! The gameplay was smooth, featuring some unique puzzles I had never seen before. The tech integration was impressive, adding a futuristic touch to the experience. The immersion was top-tier, making us feel like we were truly part of the museum setting. If you’re looking for a well-designed, high-tech, and engaging escape room, this one is a must-play!
The Flying DutchmanCodebusters 2 Escape RoomEscape roomIRLCodeBusters continues to impress my team. We absolutely loved this room, as we are all from Tampa (the city of pirates). The sets and props were perfect, and the game play was honestly a fun adventure. Absolutely play this room if you like pirates 🏴☠️
Stranger 80’s Vol 2Codebusters 2 Escape RoomEscape roomIRLStranger 80’s Vol 2 is my favorite game at CodeBusters so far, probably because I’m such a fan of the franchise but also because it’s spot on immersion and really creative gameplay!
Lodge of the LostRiddler's Escape - TampaEscape roomIRLThis. Room. Was. AWESOME! Initially we walked in the room like “we’ve seen this before” but we left absolutely eating our words. The atmosphere, the puzzles, the game master, the ENDING, everything was stellar. You can tell whoever designed this room truly loves what they do. 10/10
Skinned AliveEscape ThrillEscape roomIRLThe was the first of two rooms of the night at Escape Thrill. We really enjoyed the set design, and flow of the room. The final puzzle was awesome and we found it so fun to search for and find pieces for the finale throughout the room. Would give it a 7/10
The Toy RoomEscape ThrillEscape roomIRLListen, I really appreciate what the builders were trying to attempt in this room. There were some amazing puzzles and the story was super cute. We played two games this day, the other being skinned alive and I loved supporting a local room. HOWEVER, this game was not it for us. There was an over complex gameplay, one puzzle that will eat so much time for no reason, and overall the room didn’t really flow. We spent a lot of time frustrated and feeling like we didn’t really want to continue the room. 3/10 for us.
Room 303 - Chapter 1303 Escape - Denver Escape RoomEscape roomIRLLook, I’ve played escape rooms in three states and in 10 cities. Although I don’t have 100+ games under my belt, I will say this is one of the best escape rooms I’ve ever done. The game master was awesome, the immersion was top tier without being “Disneyfied”, it really felt like a hotel room. Just when you think it’s over, the room absolutely shocks you. 10/10! Can’t wait to do chapter 2, and 3 (once it’s built)
Colorado JonesCodebusters 2 Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWe played this game as the first at CodeBusters, and BOY were we impressed! The immersion, the gameplay, the puzzles! It is an amazing room that will continue to surprise you as it unfolds. 10/10 on this one.
Cinema 7Will To Escape - OrlandoEscape roomIRLOkay, so I want to love this one, however, the twist just missed the mark for me. The set was amazing, and puzzles were creative, but I found more often than not we were solving things to unlock a box. The game master respected our request and offered minimal help. Great room, good game, definitely worth the drive if you’re in central Florida !
Disappearance: Last LocationWill To Escape - OrlandoEscape roomIRLSolid room that escalates quickly. It’s smaller than I thought it would be and my fiancée and I couldn’t have imagined playing with more than just us two. It’s a very creepy game with some unique puzzles, definitely worth a go!
The DIEnerIntense Escape - Tampa LocationEscape roomIRLAbsolutely loved this room. Very clever puzzles, not super difficult but one of the most fun and immersive rooms. Excited to come back to do Clown Town and eventually the basement !!
Asylum - CLOSEDAmerica's Escape Game - TampaEscape roomIRLOverall this room was one of my favorites! The theming and immersive atmosphere along with really unique puzzles made this experience worth the while. Looking forward to doing the other rooms at this venue!
DraculaGame Over Escape Rooms - BrandonEscape roomIRLThe set design in Dracula at Game Over Escape was fantastic and definitely the highlight of the room. However, the gameplay left a lot to be desired. Some puzzles made no sense, and we were told that certain elements didn’t translate well from the original design, which really threw off our flow. This led to one of the most frustrating escape experiences my team has ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this room for beginners, as the challenge comes more from unclear puzzle logic than true difficulty.
