ClueBreakout Games - AtlantaEscape roomIRLClue is my favorite board game, and this did not disappoint!!! SUPER hands on, lots of things to pick up and grab, and the set was immaculate. So many rooms!!! Highly recommend this one, but definitely better for larger groups because there’s things that have to be done at the same time in different rooms.
Lodge of the LostRiddler's Escape - TampaEscape roomIRLNot only did I love this escape room, but I especially loved the company! Our game master was fabulous and super immersive, using different voices along the way. If you wanted a clue, you had to look at the camera and scream! I loved how theatrical it was. It was very hands-on, which I love, and the set was more on the theatrical side, rather than realistic, but I honestly didn’t mind it, it was really cute.
Haunted MansionGame Over Escape Rooms - East TampaEscape roomIRLThis was the scariest escape room I’ve done so far! Absolutely loved it, and it was so personal. There was a creepy drawing on the wall with my own name on it, and the game master would whisper our names the whole time to keep us immersed. TONS of jump scares and lots of rooms. Clues in earlier rooms were needed for future rooms, and it was so scary to split up!!! The set was immaculate. Loved loved loved
ToymakerGame Over Escape Rooms - West TampaEscape roomIRLLoved the set!! Super creepy and immersive. We had to run back and forth to different rooms to solve clues. Glad we had a lot of people because there were tasks that needed multiple hands! The only thing I didn’t love was there were not a lot of objects to pick up. It was a more visual room rather than hands on. Our game master was great and used creepy voices. She was also the one to introduce us to this app!
Horror CircusGame Over Escape Rooms - AtlantaEscape roomIRLMost escape rooms have clues that unlock the next room, or give you a code to unlock certain cabinets. But in this room, most of the puzzles that needed to be solved were for the sole purpose of a jump scare. I enjoy jump scares, but they just seemed very pointless. Also, our game master was way too involved, gave us countless clues that we did not ask for, and his everyday voice really took us out of the immersive experience.
The KidnappingBreakout Games - BirminghamEscape roomIRLThis was the first escape room I ever did, and I will never forget it! You start off blindfolded and handcuffed to something. And then before you even begin to attempt to escape the room, you have to try and figure out how to uncuff yourself! It truly made you immediately immersed in the story and was absolutely incredible.
