Alice's DreamMind Twist Escape ExperienceEscape roomIRLIt was a really pretty escape room, but the puzzles were generally pretty not intuitive, and it was so linear that a couple things we did "just worked" later but not earlier. it was also really hard to tell when we were about to break the set by trying to do something. Had to ask for multiple hints because of that, took the fun away.
Transylvania HotelFirst EmpireEscape roomIRLThis place was really well put together, way higher than I expected for it being in a mall! We got a chance to meet the owner and creator, and he was super nice and just excited to make our experience good! Decor was really unique, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into how this thing would flow end to end.

Antidote: Chemical WarfareEscapology - LynnwoodEscape roomIRLThis is our least favorite room at this location. Very linear and easy to miss very subtle things or things that just didn’t really have clues and you have to infer how to do it. Try the other rooms here though, GM’s are great!

Grandpa Jim's CabinEscape Goats Escape RoomEscape roomIRLTons of puzzles! Somehow we beat it with 7 seconds to spare, only 2 hints so pretty well put together room all said. Lots of stuff in the room that doesn’t have to do with the puzzles, but after a few minutes it’s not hard to tell the difference btw red herring and actual part of puzzle I though (we have been in rooms where it’s REALLY hard to distinguish but our intuition was correct 80% of the time in this room which was good enough). Really nice proprietor, would do their other room!
In the Dog HouseEscape Goats Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis room would be really fun to do with kids - challenging enough that we really had to think about things (and get 1 hint I think) but pretty low pressure and cute theme. Enjoyed it with just 2 adults too! I think more than 3 people would have been crowded personally.

Dungeon of DoomSure Lock Escapes - Stout Oak Adventuring Guild (Kent)Escape roomIRLLoved this room. Split entry, cooperative design allowed for a couple small groups to have a great time. I chose my “speed run” buddies to partner with me on this for my birthday and the puzzles were challenging but fun, atmosphere was great, and it was cool figuring everything out together but apart. Great time!

The VaultConundroom - Downtown ParkEscape roomIRLGood game, still working the kinks out (we ran this on its first day out of test). If you did Ex Machina, it still has a couple of those elements but has many pretty good new puzzles and it was a pretty fun (and well put together) room!
BioNova BreakoutKryptoScape Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLOverall a pretty good 90min room! We completed it with 2 people (with a little fudging on the 90min completion time :). For 2 people, a couple of the puzzles were a little frustrating because you could start them but not complete them till the other person finished their puzzle (without being really clear you couldn’t finish, so one person was kinda wasting their time), but overall pretty good. There’s one physical activity we found frustrating but it might have been that we were hangry :)
