The Starlight Motel
Escape Artist Greenville - Downtown
Escape room
IRL
It was a very good room. I am not a lover of scary rooms, and while that did detract some for me, I am glad we played it. I am a lover of the puzzles in rooms, and those were a bit meh. The live actor is what makes this room special. It is absolutely an immersive experience. I really enjoyed the fact that there wasn't an obvious clock counting down the time. I also loved the hint system that really just added to the immersion.

The immersion was sooo good. There was one moment where I swore we had moved outside. The live actor adds so much to the room. I'm not a huge fan of scary, and this definitely has the scary moments, but it is worthwhile. I love puzzles, and this room was filled with a wide variety of them.

Help Wanted

You should go to any Escape Artist Greenville room for the immersion and the character interactions. Help Wanted is no different. The puzzles here were well done and unique. This room's story is tied to the Dark Lullabye story, but this one is not as scary.
The Jurassic Project
Memphis Escape Rooms - South Main

Such an amazing set! If you've seen Jurassic Park the movie, you will feel as though you are there. There are animatronics too. So much good…but then too few puzzles and a we finished in a very short time. There was one lock that they said always needed a hint (for us, too) which makes me think it just isn't a good puzzle.
Shipwreck Cove
Memphis Escape Rooms - South Main

This had a great set, which is true for all of the Memphis Escape Room rooms I've played. There were at least 2 puzzles that required completely unique equipment/ways to solve that I had never seen in an escape room. It was also a bit short and with easier puzzles than I would have liked. Still recommended.
Classified: Operation Nine Lives
Escape Artist Greenville - Downtown
Escape room
IRL
Escape Artist Greenville has a lot of top rated rooms. I am not a big fan of scary, so this is actually my favorite room here. I haven't experienced anything like the first act in the 70+ rooms I've done. This rooms is cute and funny and has some excellent physical challenges. As with all Escape Artist rooms, the live actor characters are tremendous and really add to the theme.
Pirates Curse

Had great theming and atmosphere. Also had some quite challenging puzzles, and clever ones. The "Escape" itself was fairly short, but then there were 5 extra puzzles that took up the time and could all be done in parallel, which created options for everyone. Fun tech, like an animatronic parrot.

It was very first gen. The owner was super friendly and enthusiastic. There were some new and interesting puzzles, including some physical manipulations. We had a group of 7, but finished with about 22 minutes left.
Yacht Heist

Very good room. Nonlinear. Lots of unique puzzles that required thought, and mostly maglocks. The goal was not to escape, but to "steal" crowns and coins. We got all of them, twice as many as needed to be winners.
White Rabbit Society
The Exit Games - Front St.
Escape room

The magic theme was good. Lots of maglocks and distant effects. I never felt like *we* were doing magic though. The puzzles were often multi-step, which was refreshing. You'd look one place to get a sequence, and then turn that sequnce into a code, etc. somewhere else. We were told it was linear, and it was, which was less than ideal for our group of 6.
