Teleporter Trials

wow, absolutely a top tier experience! we completed the Teleporter Trials this evening and cannot wait to do more of their rooms. the level of immersion was amazing, along with the story telling. the story was seamlessly woven through puzzles and game flow and it really added to the level of immersion. gameplay was great with a great balance of puzzles, design, and tech. the staff here is also absolutely top tier. our game master, Megan, added to the level of immersion and was so kind. also the owners, Paul and Tonya, went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. they’re very welcoming and have cultivated such a unique and wonderful place. if you’re looking for an engaging and fun experience that’s also a manageable challenge, this is for you!! i cannot wait to play though the rest of their games.

This was such a great take on a tried and true theme. We played three rooms today and the common themes were amazing levels of immersion, seamless story telling woven into puzzles, challenges and game flow. Rooms were challenging but not frustrating and the craftsmanship is stellar. Not sure this is a term but these were an artisan escape room. This is room was a blast to play, great variety of puzzles, mix of linear and non and had some cool physical elements to tackle. Personally I love the logic in storytelling that flowed so well and had a “bow” at the end that really tied it all together Tanya and Paul are the owners and they truly created a special place. One of our favorites. This game was soo cool. I wish I had time to do the rest of their rooms, because this company does not miss! The room had a great balance of puzzles, beautiful design, and impressive tech! Again, the owner Tanya went above and beyond to make our visit so welcoming.

Who knows how they did it, but Lock, Clock, and Peril managed to teleport us to a whole nother world! The puzzles, most of which require logic or finesse, were fun, charming, and smart. The ending paints the tasks in an interesting light, and it made us smile. Despite being a sci-fi room, this really felt magical! This entire establishment is infused with magic charm! And this is one of the must-dos at this location, with their fairy tale being another excellent room. If you take on the trials, enjoy the ride before you phone home!

LCP knows how to design escape rooms! From start to finish, this room was a blast. The set dressing is incredibly well done. The story is lighthearted and the puzzles are fun. They do an impressive job of maximizing and utilizing all of their space. I highly recommend this room!

This game was so much fun! We laughed, we cried (from laughing so hard), we did it all here! The unique story, experience and puzzle selection really put this room up in my top favorite rooms! Love this business, and I loved this room!

My wife and I played this room after Undercover Agents today. These were our last two rooms at LCP. I have to say that LCP has set the bar very high for all other escape rooms we play. This room was probably my favorite at LCP and is on the list of top favorites anywhere. LCP outdid themselves on this one. I dont remember a single lock or key in the entire room(s). Room was very well themed, had a lot of unique experiences/puzzles. More rooms than usual. It even has a great story with a very funny ending that made the room even more memorable. Our GM Paul was great and gave us the nudges we needed to get out. You must do this room and the others at LCP if you are in SC area.

Lock, Clock had been on my radar for a bit now and seeing them get a TERPECA nomination and finalist gave us the last push to stop on our road trip up the east coast and boy was it worth it! What a charming, clever and just plain fun company. On one day’s notice, the owners were willing to stay open late for us to play two games and sat and chatted with us for FAR too long, we couldn’t be more happy we stopped. My wife and I couldn’t decide which game we liked more, she preferred this game to the Fairytale game and I can totally see why. This is a puzzle focused game with a stellar and hilarious introduction and conclusion. Puzzles varied in style and complexity but were really innovative and made excellent use of a relatively small footprint. I am so impressed by this came and its worth the detour off 95 if you’re driving through or if you’re doing an escape room trip through the Carolinas!

This was an irreverent and very fun game that included lots of original but fun puzzles the beginning and ending unique and definitely worth a trip to play this room
