We had the best game master of our lives - (thanks Ben!) who is so brilliant and talented and…acrobatic. This room demands a lot from the game master and he was next level. Go! Be brave!
13th BasementExit Game OC - AnaheimEscape roomIRLWe did it with our boys and it was perfect. Loved the production (several sections!). It was nicely linear and creepy. Room wasn’t cluttered with red herrings (thank you!), and the locks and clues were totally thematic. We had a great experience. Would be a perfect room for introducing people to the awesome world of escape rooms! Gamehosts were passionate and delightful.
The Curse Of The Black KnightEscapeX Rooms - IrvineEscape roomIRLDone over 80 rooms and this room is still in the top 3. Few rooms have such immersive production. You are in a castle. Several sections, too! It’s a fantastic introductory escape room and i’ve done it at least 5 times while introducing friends to the world of escape games. It’s linear with a smooth flow and lots of aha! Moments. Props to the creators. Love this room.

Loved this room and I’ve done around 100. I’m 51 and boys are teenagers. Loved how they set up the story and take you there. Danny’s acting was fantastic and hilarious. Well done, Intrepid! Not too hard and your parrot friend is happy to nudge you if you ask.
WarlockedQuest Room - Redondo BeachEscape roomIRLHigh production! Delightful, super whimsical non-linear room with thematic puzzles. It would be super fun for families with younger kids, since the puzzles mostly use tangible objects that require placement or assembly, and there is lots to do. Staff are as theatrical as the room and made it extra fun.
