We completed with just two people and felt adequately challenged without feeling stuck too much! Harper our GM made our experience even better! She was so kind and bubbly; definitely elevated the experience. We would love to come back and play more of these rooms, it’s a bummer we are OC based!
Merlin's Magic SchoolEscape Room Palm SpringsEscape roomIRLWe enjoyed this room! The room had some fun aspects to it, but one puzzle left is super confused…still really aren’t sure if we did it right! Overall, solid room, had a lot of fun with the MAJIK of it!
Excalibur - CLOSEDBrainy Actz - IrvineEscape roomIRLThis room was just okay. Nothing pops, pretty old tech, but one puzzle we really did enjoy. You aren’t going to be “wowed” but it’s a very standard and outdated escape room.
The Lost Pointe Lodge - CLOSEDBrainy Actz - IrvineEscape roomIRLThis room was not good…pains me to say that. The props were chipped and outdated, the starting point was very vague even for experienced escape room people, and most of the room had permanent marker on it that hadn’t been cleaned and essentially gave us most of the answers. It REALLY needs a deep clean and some updates. On the positive side, our GM was very friendly and we liked the room’s feel.

We completed the room and had about 20 minutes left - puzzles were not very difficult. Still, everything in the room made sense and flowed well. Plus, the theme was great and the room reflected it well.
Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle AdventureEscapology - CarlsbadEscape roomIRLWe loved this room! Gave us some good challenges while keeping the fun scooby doo theme! The interaction you have with the room was really unique. Definitely give it a go, and apparently they have a version for kids as well!
Jewel of the SeaIntrepid Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLHome grown room with lots of cool puzzles and surprises. Probably good with 3+, but we did fine with 2. The room worked together really nicely and we had a blast!
The Stolen RelicIntrepid Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLFun room, 2 people was fine. Family friendly and had some pretty fun puzzles but most were pretty simple to solve.
Zombie RisingLegacy Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLEnjoyed this room. Did this room with some of my co-workers, most who aren’t very familiar with escape rooms. Some unique puzzles, fun lighting and sounds. Our communication with our GM was hit and miss. Overall, this room was a fun idea, but the tech needs upgrades. We do want to come back and complete the other rooms in the future.
The Mad RapperScenario Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWow, such a great room. First off, our GM Nate was the HOMIE! Such a good guy, spent some time talking through our favorite rooms in the area. This room will test you and make you think. Lots of puzzles, but all of them very unique and different than the next. You always feel immersed in the plot and have to keep your listening ears on! We completed the room with 2 people, we did ask for a few hints. I do not recommend 2 people unless you really want the challenge. Best done in a group of 4. Really hoping they keep adding rooms, this place is A+
The Magic CottageInfinity EscapeEscape roomIRLWe had a BLAST in this room! The tech is amazing, gameplay is super interactive, and our GM Jeff was awesome! Heard great things, lived up to the hype for sure! We completed the room with 2 people, would recommend 3+ if you are newer to escape rooms.
Dr. Jorg’s Lab [prev. The Zombie Lab]Infinity EscapeEscape roomIRLWe enjoyed Dr. Jorg’s Lab! There were some parts that they put a lot of effort into and it showed. This room will make you jump a few times, but make sure not to get bitten! Our GM Jeff was awesome!
Dr. Hader’s Cartoon WorldScenario Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was one of the more fun rooms we have done! The room design was great, lots of fun puzzles, and kept you very locked in the whole time. We did all puzzles and brownie points as a team of 2, but probably should be played with a team of 4. We can’t wait to come back and do Mad Rapper!
The Red Balloon [prev. Attic] - CLOSEDCloud EscapeEscape roomIRLThis is a VERY beginner friendly room. If you are expecting a challenging room, this is not it. Great for first-timers that don’t mind the dark. Escaped with plenty of time. Storyline tracked pretty well.
The Dorm - CLOSEDCloud EscapeEscape roomOther Not our favorite room. We knew coming into it that it wasn’t a “traditional” escape room, so we came in with an open mind. Overall, we felt more like private investigators than puzzle solvers. We tried to stay as engaged as possible, but felt lost and confused pretty frequently for most of the 90 minutes. I feel like some would like this room for sure, just not for us. :)
Home All AloneCinema Escape Rooms - Los AlamitosEscape roomIRLHad a fun time with this room as it’s one of our favorite Christmas movies. Staff as always is first class. Had some unique puzzles that made you think. Good for a group of 2 or 3 but for all Home Alone lovers, you will enjoy this for sure!
Principal's OfficeEscape Room Era - AnaheimEscape roomIRLWe had an amazing time! Our Game manager Nono was AWESOME! The room is so emersive, encompasses the plot so well, and an unexpected twist happens right when you least expect it. Very fun room, family friendly, but best with groups of 2-4.

We love Christmas, so when you walk in, you are greeted with a warm holiday environment and the smell of the seasons. Fun plot, game master Nono was amazing. Couple of fun sections in the room, good for 2-4 players!
The Manor [prev. The Mystical Murderess] - CLOSEDEntangled - Orange [prev. Code Red Escape Rooms]Escape roomIRLWe enjoyed this room even though it does get spiritual spooky which isn’t our fav. It follows a fun theme, and the set design was great. Our GM was super helpful. We have played Senseless before, and this one was far superior in our opinion. We found it manageable with 2 people, but can easily be completed with a group of 4.
