The Weeping WitchCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThis was one of the best escape rooms we’ve ever done. Amanda the game master made it literally perfect. We were impressed (and terrified) beyond belief, and I genuinely cannot recommend it enough. 100% worth the drive from LA
Atlantis: The Forgotten CityHypnotic Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLLOVED this game. A lot of fun, really fun puzzles, and an overall feel-good experience. Would highly recommend.
13th BasementExit Game OC - AnaheimEscape roomIRLThis game was one of the MOST fun we’ve played in a while. Loved the puzzles, the set design, and especially the owners. 10/10 would recommend
InksidiousEscape Room 66 - Los AngelesEscape roomIRLThis room was great! One of my favorite Generation One rooms, it was full of different kinds of puzzles and tasks that kept us thoroughly engaged. Puzzles were perfect difficulty, and the GM/owner Tuesday was INCREDIBLE. Cant wait for their second room!
Chapter 3: The StudyTHE BASEMENT: A Live Escape Room Experience - SylmarEscape roomIRLthis was easily THE best room at this establishment. Incredible.
The Temple of Lost GoldMaze Rooms - Robertson BlvdEscape roomIRLThis room didn’t really have any satisfying puzzles for us, unfortunately. We solved some puzzles out of sheer luck, and our game master was busy with another room so we couldn’t even ask questions or talk about the room after we won.
The HeistThe Escape Game - Los AngelesEscape roomIRLI really liked this room! Some cool elements, a clear storyline, and logical puzzles. The game masters were also cool. It starts out easy and progressively gets harder, which I enjoyed.
Escobar: Part 2 (The Final Hour)The Escape RevolutionEscape roomIRLThis game was honestly very disappointing. We’ve done all of the other rooms at this location and loved them, but this one did not compare. It was more of a scavenger hunt of trying to find random items vs being a puzzle-forward room. Even the game master agreed that the few puzzles that WERE there weren’t very intuitive. The leaderboard said that no group had escaped without at least one hint, and I think that’s very telling.
