Lost Reality - Belmont

This was a really immersive and eerie experience that we ended up making 2nd on the leaderboard for! There were some good scares, and the set had us on edge. The only issue for this room is that the storyline loses its strength towards the end in my opinion, as it doesnโ€™t continue with the orphanage theme. Another thing is that one of our audio clues didnโ€™t play, which ended up adding extra time while we couldnโ€™t continue. Overall a really fun experience, and definitely spooked us.

As massive stranger things fans, we decided to this room, as we heard it was loosely based on the show, and it certainly didnโ€™t let us down. We had a lot of fun playing this room, and the setting was extremely immersive. What definitely made us love this room so much was our gamemaster, who was able to communicate with us through a piece of the room (something Iโ€™ve never seen at any other escape room location), and as well as giving us a helping hand throughout the room, he was also joking around with us, and playing along with what we were saying and referencing, and I donโ€™t think we stopped laughing once. For our second fox in a Box room, it was such an amazing experience!!!

Pandora Experience - Kuta Bali

Another incredible and immersive escape room from pandora. We came back and did this one after doing Alcatraz. I really wanted to do this one as I am a big fan of the shutter island book. A thing to note about this room is itโ€™s really hard. There arenโ€™t many clues, but the ones in the room are quite tricky and we used a lot of hints. The room is very physical, with a lot of crawling and climbing. The very end was super cool and involved something Iโ€™ve never seen in an escape room, and likely never will again. The conclusion of the narrative was different to the plot of the book which I also enjoyed as it was something different.

This is by far one of the best escape rooms Iโ€™ve ever done. The room is spooky enough to keep you on edge the entire time without it being too scary that you donโ€™t want to continue. It was so immersive that I felt like I was literally trying to escape Alcatraz, and a lot of the aspects of the room would not be allowed in many other countries, which made it that much more realistic. One thing to note is that majority of this room requires you to climb, whether that be pulling yourself up into a room or climbing ladders. At the very end of the room, there is a very high climbing bit, that might make it a little tricky to complete if you are afraid of heights.

Great room, only made it through to the second room though. We did get stuck on a puzzle which took up most of our time, and even tho the workers tried their best to give us clues, even sliding a drawn diagram through the second room door for us, we eventually got it when a worker was sent in to help us. We didnโ€™t get the answers to the rest of the game so we could go back and finish it on our own. Edit We went back and finished the rest of the room, and it was really good, the perfect amount of fear and uneasiness definitely added to the pressure. We escaped with 14 minutes left.
