The front door part requires knowing how that lock works, it’s uncommon in escape rooms (we’ve done over 100) - some general directions for that lock functionality would be helpful. Unlike another reviewer we did get time updates and had a good experience with the staff. The scanner was a little clunky and ate up time even when we were doing things correctly. It just would not scan without being just right. One of the only other rooms we’ve ever not escaped (totally different escape room company and theme) involved a scanning gun not working even when it should have and things were accurate. Definitely worth a try and give them a little grace since it’s a new game.
