The Chesapeake Bay Butcher

Absolutely excellent room. Unique in it's design, giving you sort of an optical, light directed compass of what to do next. One of the absolute best haunt based rooms we've done in a while. Most, ride on primarily the scare factor where butcher also had great puzzles. Really great, well designed, all around awesome room. Daniel was our GM/actor and was 👌.

One of the best rooms I've ever played

Spectacular!! Very scary and totally immersive. The visual environment they created makes you feel like you’re in a genuinely derelict murder house. We were all pretty tense and nervous and certainly fell victim to a few scares, but the gameplay difficulty is intermediate enough where we were able to keep moving at a steady pace without feeling out of depth. As long as you have a few escape rooms under your belt, I think most groups would be able to manage this game. The greatest challenges are pushing through your fear to maintain momentum, and struggling to see things in the dim lighting and dark rooms. You do get opportunities to earn more light by proceeding successfully. Overall, the visual theming is unforgettable and the live actor element will keep your group laughing about it for days afterward. One of my favorite rooms I’ve ever done! Very unique and impressive.

This escape room was great! Highly recommend if you like scary! We screamed, ran, screamed, ran, repeat. Group of 4 (2 teens and 2 adults) escaped with 11 minutes to spare. Game master, Daniel, was very accommodating to us as we were stuck in traffic due to a wreck. He was able to push or reservation to a later time started us early when we finally arrived.

If you like thrillers and horror movies, this is the room for you!! The atmosphere is brilliant, and it gives you the feeling of being constantly on edge. The puzzles themselves aren’t too difficult, some of them require team work and the flow of the game is evident without being too obvious. The game master interactions add to the experience, and we appreciated the extra care in showing us the backstage of the room and how some things worked after we escaped. Overall, an amazing experience!!

One of the best escape rooms I've done in my life. Loved and hated every minute of it. So terrifying.

Interesting horror based room with a "live actor"/game master active in the room for scares. Had an interesting way of signaling and hints using lights and video tapes which made for a very interactive and scary experience. Definitely a fun experience overall

Terrifying! I don’t think we actually finished in time, I think the guy was nice enough to extend it a little bit since we were so close. So scary my cousin had to leave and couldn’t finish. Lots of jump scares with sounds and props. Prepare to be chased.

It was scary lots of screams so if you like horror rooms then this rooms for you pretty dark too but you earn your light. Don’t touch the ducks mason jars or beer cans! That’s a warning!
