THE REAL WAR IS ABOUT SOLVING A BUNCH OF FUN LITTLE PUZZLES - Sun Szu (probably) Oooo nelly what a tricky little challenge The Bunker posed to my friends and I! Lauded as their most difficult experience and for good reason, there were enough hidden messages, electronics, communications and decipherables to drive a man insane. Very fitting indeed. All in all it’s a really solid room with a difficulty that never feels cheap or nonsensical, once we found what we were looking for and put all the pieces together, each puzzle felt very satisfying. The radio communication between rooms was a nice touch but having to open and close the door between the two areas to trigger the lights quickly became arduous. Also skill based puzzles with no checkpoint system stress me the hell out. Plenty to like here if I’m honest, a good, classic test for the average enthusiast. 7.5/10 🔏🧩

So sad I didn’t escape this one but was reminded about why I love doing escape rooms and how each experience can be so different. That finalizes Fox in a Box for me! Till the next room 🫡

Was our first room of the day as a team, communication goes a long way. We managed to escape in the nick of time!! Despite being a bigger group, we weren’t too observant, there was a few things we got stuck on because we didnt check all of our surroundings, when asking for a clue it was mostly pointing out something we missed haha. Overall, it was really immersive and it was one of my favourites of the day!!

We went back to Fox in a Box to tackle ‘Bunker’, a challenging Cold War experience. Theming was great, as is the case with all Fox in a Box rooms, and the puzzles were diverse and tricky! Loved the props and flow of the game throughout. They say it’s their toughest room — it’s worth taking the challenge.

At the time of this review, I’ve done 20 escape rooms. Bunker was the most unforgiving & difficult room I’ve done so far. The first room has so much information available to you when you start that it took the two of us our first 10 minutes to discover a starting point. So many things are also arguably very well hidden that it’s also very easy to miss things. One puzzle in the room also includes arguably breaking usual escape room conventions by disassembling something, and I thought it was unfair, if this was implemented differently (and was doable by someone with nails), and/or had a ‘open me’ or something like that instead would be a whole lot better.

One of the first rooms we didn’t make it out of, had a great theme, found some puzzles hard to link together!

Bit of a let down once you have done the other fox in the box rooms.

Enjoyed it but definitely harder than I first thought! Only got out with 15 seconds remaining but we did it!
