The theming of the game was really good. It really adds that they are built in an apartment complex and that it tied into the story. You have a limited amount of hints which I’m not a fan of and some of the locks/puzzles are really touchy. There was this one really particular lock that wasted a lot of our time and hints. Other than that is was a good time and our game host was sweet.

Fun room. Clues were engaging and even knowing what clue and what lock still warranted some arguments between the group. There was enough to do that we could spread out and solve puzzles.

I had really high hopes for this room. After reading some of the reviews, but I don’t see what the hype is. Or maybe the room changed I don’t know.

The first thing you do in this room is pretty clever! There are some fun concepts throughout, though they are sometimes undercut by tech issues and a lack of clarity on how or where to input codes. It’s an older design philosophy, but it’s still fun, puzzly, and thinky.

Lots of locks but finding the sequences was really fun! Everything was decorated very well, overall I really enjoyed everything about this room! Do some googling ahead of time: how to operate a TCL Roku TV with no remote 😅

This one - ahhh I underestimated how difficult it would be.. just to start the dang room! It was fun and the theme was very well done.

Disclaimer: it has been a few years since I was here. At the time, I didn’t know about Morty, so I’m leaving a review in retrospect! Some things may have changed. As a beginner “escape artist”, I loved having a good escape room close to my house. The customer service here was always fantastic, and nine times out of ten, our game masters were stellar! The rooms themselves are very low tech, almost all mechanical, and not super complicated… but, that being said, the design, props, and just general atmosphere of fun made up for it! To this day, some of my best and most nostalgic escape room memories were made here. This room, in particular: fun jump scares, a little bit spooky but not horrifically scary. Had some trouble communicating with the game master, as the clues were very long and took a long time to type, and kept repeating instructions for puzzles we had already completed. Besides that small frustration, though, it was great!

Not as good as I had hoped, nor as scary. Lots of locks to open and built on a budget.
