Gangster Gnomes 2 Out On Parole

What an amazing room! I had no idea this was a Christmas themed room when I booked it, but it made for a nice surprise. The story was adorable and I wish I had brought my young nephew along for the ride. The set is extremely well done and was full of a great combo of holiday cheer and the gnomes. The puzzles were clever and included some new and exciting things that I had not come across before. Overall, this was a fabulous room and I can't wait to bring my nephew back here come December.

We've played every room at Codeword Escape in Rocky Hill, and the Gnome room was another fun experience! Our game master, Vix, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and quick to help when needed. The Gnome room is their least challenging room and is clearly designed with beginners and families in mind, but don't let that fool you. There were still a few puzzles that made us think, along with some fun surprises that kept the experience entertaining. The only issue we encountered was a technical glitch: after completing one puzzle, the key that was supposed to drop didn't appear. Vix noticed the problem immediately, paused our game time, and resolved it quickly, so it had very little impact on our experience. Overall, I think this is an excellent room for first-time escape room players and families, while still being a fun, lighthearted break for experienced players who usually seek out the toughest challenges. Having now played all of Codeword Escape's rooms in Rocky Hill, I can confidently recommend them, and I'm looking forward to checking out their other locations!

Cute mom-and-pop Christmas room- lots of locks, lots of puzzles, and lots of gnomes. Great family room, but for enthusiasts, keep team size down to 2-3 (definitely wouldn’t play with more than 4) or else you’ll be flying through this room. Go in with expectation of some solid puzzles in a low-key setting (I.e. no big reveals / ‘wow’ moments) and you’ll have a great time

This room was actually very cute and I was pleasantly surprised. I love a solid, independent escape room with a unique theme. Gangster Gnomes is definitely a unique and original one - as if they robbed a gnome collectors house and used all of them as props in the room. A great Christmas themed room, though I played it in the summer, the puzzles were good. Some slightly challenging but nothing too hard.

Cute room, family friendly. Fun and festive. Great starter room for newbies that don’t want to jump into anything intense.

Lots of locks! Puzzles were straightforward. Overall it was a pretty simple room, fun for kids IMO
