In the midst of a steampunk, famine ridden, futuristic time, one man holds all the power in this city. Known only as The Captain, he controls all and trust no one. The people beg for his scraps while he and his aristocratic friends live it up at his casino called The Kraken. There are rumors of an old type of power he possesses that once almost ended civilization. With it, he will not only continue his reign of terror but he will become powerful enough to control the world. This is our city and our lives. We can not let this happen. We will resist and fight! We will break in The Kraken's high security vault, find this power and destroy it! This will be dangerous as people who cross The Captain do not live to tell about it. Will you sit by and watch everything around you waste away or you will stand with the Resistance?

381 escape rooms
Steampunk casino theme is neat, and staff is nice, and those are the positives for this room. The room starts out in darkness, and turning on the lights didn’t actually help much with the flow. Much of the room requires these crappy laminated sheets of paper that tell you how to approach the puzzles. The other aspects of the room make little sense or waste your time or are janky. Some clues are hard to read or hear, and a part of the room broke on me. There is quite a bit of wear and tear, suggesting that isn’t well-maintained. Side note that you can hear other groups in other rooms, and if they’re as loud and obnoxious as our escape neighbors were, it can get infuriating… I wouldn’t gamble on this room unless you’re that intent on releasing the Kraken.
