The Storykeeper

very cool room, one of my favorites for combining wow factor and immersion with puzzles. loved that there was always a secondary piece of information to consider with the puzzles, have done some other rooms that were so straightforward that it felt more like following instructions then solving a puzzle. the hint system is very diamond age by neal stephenson

We had a great time with The Storykeeper! Did this as a group of two and we were appropriately prompted towards solutions when needed. Only used a couple of hints; the storybook hint system is a nice touch. Theming is great and transitions between rooms are very well done. We enjoyed Jak’s eccentricity.

What a treat! Very puzzly game with minimal actor interaction (just enough to keep things interesting). Looking forward to their next game!

We were in Seattle just for a day before boarding a cruise and we do escape rooms in each place we travel. This was our favorite so far! It’s so unique - for reasons I won’t spoil! The staff are also top notch!

This was one of our favorite rooms we’ve ever done!! The live actor aspect was new to us and a cool addition. The amount of detail in the world was next level and felt magical. It was a challenging room for us because we got hung up on two puzzles that zapped us on time. In the end we made it, and felt like it took all four of us to get there. Memorable family time! ❤️

Amazing room! There were some cool sceneries and the puzzles were challenging but flowed very well. Very nice game master and we were treated well doing both rooms back to back.

Went to this room based on what we saw here. It did not disappoint. It was a great experience! The story and theming were amazing. You have Jak as your in room guide along with a helpful device to provide hints during play. The actor playing Jak was great, friendly, and stayed in perfect character throughout the game. The puzzles for the room were unique and varied. The theming for the whole experience was great and carried the story. Would definitely recommend this room if you’re in the area. The area has a great gelato place and other food options nearby as well.

I really enjoyed the immersion and set design of The Storykeeper! This was one of the most immersive escape rooms we did in Seattle. The live actor was new for me, felt a little nervous doing puzzles in the same room but they were super nice. The lanterns mentioned in a previous review did help with visibility.

Can't recommend this room enough! We only had time for one room on our visit to Seattle, and we're so glad we picked this one. A lot of thought and care went into this room... puzzle elements and storyline are very well done and it has great plot immersion. Live actor element is integrated wonderfully and their hint system is also done well, which was helpful since due to problematic travel and lack of sleep, our brains were not at all functioning at optimal puzzle level. Staff was incredibly friendly! If you're wondering if you should do this room, just do it. You won't be disappointed!
