The Hex Room

Split start game, after you take a personality test the GM picks your character based on answers. Some characters rooms are easier to escape than others. Feels like a solo escape room within a bigger room. Found this to be on the easy side. You can get stuck inside your room while the others are out.

WOW this room was incredible! Production (video trailer included) was top NOTCH! We had a big group of 9 that had plenty to do, puzzles are highly interactive/satisfying, and they give you reason to replay the game. Highly recommended, soooo good!

I need to start by saying that you may have absolutely different experiences and reviews for this game if you play different roles. I was the detective, and I LOVED IT. If I was anything else I knew I would be disappointed 🤣 But the beauty is, everyone in the team was fit for their roles! I don’t know how the GM assigned in the little time she had, but it was perfect. Anyway, one room was broken and it needed to be reset. The props and ambiance is nothing like The Weeping Witch, but I loved my phone and it was enough 🤣 This game also requires constant GM attention, so absolutely kudos to them!

Hex Room’s concept for a classic horror movie is incredibly executed. The separation of all the character tropes is a novel way to start and the different rooms make it replayable. Puzzles were mostly different ways to find numbers and words and finding the right places to put them, not much in the way of dexterity puzzles. The ambiance and build of the room are astounding and with the right group of people it’s a wonderful game.

This room is more about the theme and experience than the puzzles. I loved the idea and the concept of the game. Getting the roles is cool. The hexagon room is amazing. The puzzles itself are not too difficult, since you are starting alone and can't easily get hints.

INCREDIBLE. We came with our ride-or-die friend group, and we had a BLAST. The first 10 minutes or so activated a genuine prey-in-a-trap instinct (in the best way), and team work is essential. Deeply immersive, the hints were diegetic and we weren’t really given hints unprompted, which made it all the more satisfying when we finally figured something out and kept the tension building. 10/10, would play again in a heartbeat. Not a deep story, but the puzzles were great. It’s a true adventure where you need to lean on every member of your group and you come out feeling like you made it through something together. Eerie and fun. The pre-game test was fantastic, and we were excellently placed around the space. The staff (we talked to several people) were WONDERFUL and playful. We went on to book another room immediately after, and they slipped in an inside joke from earlier in the day into the second room, which had all of us in the room hollering. It’s also wildly replay-able, and I definitely will be coming back!

Great room, will do it again. Ot scarry was hoping it was. Farley easy. Took 5 of us.

AAAAAAAMAZING!!! Can’t say I’m surprised though, the Witch room was my favorite escape room of 2024, and this one is probably my favorite of 2025. An absolutely stellar company who really knows what they’re doing

One of my favorites. I loved how everyone was separated and to work together. Despite having 10 people it was still pretty difficult for us and we only had a few minutes to spare. Also like the idea of optional puzzles. It was great!

Absolutely loved this room!! Never played anything like it. Communication is vital for this one. Nonlinear in some parts and linear in others (without giving spoilers 👀). So so fun!! And Tara was a phenomenal GM! Highly recommend!!!!
