We would 100% recommend the Niagre Escapement team as well as their puzzles.
From beginning to end, our entire experience with them was so enjoyable.
Such a cute room!
Puzzles that made you think, but were linear & easy to follow along with which puzzle to do next.
What tripped us up was over thinking some puzzles & as soon as we got it, we did the typical "ahh we knew that". My fave kinda puzzle to get frustrated about.
Theme related puzzles to follow too, which was really nice.
Bonus - all locks, magnetic puzzles, light puzzles etc worked with no issues.
The storyline was such a lovely Hansel & Gretel theme, with the room decked out to fit the theme!
Puzzles related to the theme / storyline. You can tell that the whole room has been very clearly thought out with a lot of effort having been put in from people who are enthusiastic and passionate. It shone through in this room.
The staff were so lovely & friendly. Passionate about what they do & what they have created & wanting to share it with like minded people.
Happy to have a general yarn & chat too, not just about escape rooms / games & things.
Lovely, genuine team. Lots of chats & laughs had from the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out again.
Particularly interesting or different
No
They kept to the story of Hansel & Gretel, which was lovely but fit the puzzles to theme too. We liked that.
There were definately a mix of easy puzzles, but also some more cryptic ones. Some we got in seconds, some took us some time, some have multiple steps to them to complete the puzzle. Very well thought out.
Was a really lovely theme.
You do start off in the pitch dark with a voice talking you through the story.. which some may struggle with.. but once the clock starts, lighting comes on.
The GM also gives you a heads up about this before you start.
I think with assistance from someone older, my 12yo would be able to do this with us.

We walked, so I can't say I paid much attention to parking.
