The wicked witch has captured you and thrown you into her oven. Can you escape her oven and her cottage before she returns? This experience was designed with small groups and couples in mind. While very new-player firendly, this game is delightfully charming and holds some fun twists and surprises for experienced players as well. An immersive, cutesy-creepy experience with many interactive elements. Designed especially for smaller groups. Don't let the success rate fool you: this room has some unique challenges.

Charming little room with some really fun and clever puzzles! Even though we breezed through in around 23 minutes, the puzzles (a combination of locks and tech) were not as easy as expected, and it was more the lower volume of puzzles that rendered this Niagara Escapement’s “beginner” room.

An incredible room that was visually appealing and had a great theme. Puzzles were great and very straightforward
Excellent gameplay and room design. Puzzles were very well put together
The staff is INCREDIBLE! So kind and genuinely live escape rooms

We would 100% recommend the Niagre Escapement team as well as their puzzles. From beginning to end, our entire experience with them was so enjoyable.
Such a cute room! Puzzles that made you think, but were linear & easy to follow along with which puzzle to do next. What tripped us up was over thinking some puzzles & as soon as we got it, we did the typical "ahh we knew that". My fave kinda puzzle to get frustrated about. Theme related puzzles to follow too, which was really nice. Bonus - all locks, magnetic puzzles, light puzzles etc worked with no issues.
The storyline was such a lovely Hansel & Gretel theme, with the room decked out to fit the theme! Puzzles related to the theme / storyline. You can tell that the whole room has been very clearly thought out with a lot of effort having been put in from people who are enthusiastic and passionate. It shone through in this room.
The staff were so lovely & friendly. Passionate about what they do & what they have created & wanting to share it with like minded people. Happy to have a general yarn & chat too, not just about escape rooms / games & things. Lovely, genuine team. Lots of chats & laughs had from the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out again.

They kept to the story of Hansel & Gretel, which was lovely but fit the puzzles to theme too. We liked that.

There were definately a mix of easy puzzles, but also some more cryptic ones. Some we got in seconds, some took us some time, some have multiple steps to them to complete the puzzle. Very well thought out.

Was a really lovely theme. You do start off in the pitch dark with a voice talking you through the story.. which some may struggle with.. but once the clock starts, lighting comes on. The GM also gives you a heads up about this before you start.

I think with assistance from someone older, my 12yo would be able to do this with us.

This room didn’t have the right to be as charming as it was. The story, puzzles, and hidden jokes throughout are all incredibly thought out by the designer where I was smiling and laughing the entire time. The room is approachable for newbies while still having twists on familiar puzzle structure that will still surprise experienced players. Out of the 3 we did today (coven, end of the world, Christmas) this was definitely the easiest and had the most character. Highly recommend. No notes. As others have said go with 2 experienced players or 4ish newbies

I love playing games that have been designed and built by people passionate about the art of creating enigmas. I can always see the passion for their creation in the room. Niagara Escapement is a good example of this. Easy Bake Coven is a cute story - driven escape experience combined with a heathy dose of fun and novel enigmas to keep puzzlers really happy. A lot of care and thought definitely went into making these puzzles feeling fresh and perfectly in line with both the decor and moving the story along appropriately. I played with one other and we had a lot of fun I wouldn’t add more than one other however or you may bottleneck a bit with things to do. Appropriate for all ages. Has a spooky title but is more fairytale in nature than the horror driven genre we are seeing more and more of lately.
Very nice set design. Props were all built for the story and thus were fully immersive in nature.
Very nice couple who run the business and love to talk about designing and playing games after you are done.

It was a very cute story and while not an original genre the fairytale spin to it kept it light and in balance with the puzzles

A real gem of a game - Hansel and Gretel themed with beautiful flow and progression. Really glad to have played this - it’s suitable for all experience levels. Go and play.
The game flowed beautifully with suitable signposting - everything made sense.
Simple yet extremely effective, a lovely room.
Welcoming, enthusiastic, entertaining, it was an absolute pleasure.

The theme could have led to scary/spooky but it was cute, quirky, a joy.

Fun beginner room. We enjoyed it even though it only took us about 28 minutes to complete. This homemade room was designed well and would be fun for kids as well.

My friend and I did a weekend getaway in Niagara. We did two rooms at Niagara Escapement, went to Shaw, and had good food at a winery. We started with the Coven, the two of us escaped in 39 minutes, man did we feel smart. The style at Niagara escapement is generally more lock/puzzle based, mixed with some tech. Usually I avoid puzzle heavy rooms, as the mechanical rooms are more in trend nowadays. But I have to say the puzzles here are really clever and cute, very enjoyable with no frustration at all. The bleeping world is similar but with a lot more puzzles (3+5+8 so almost 20 puzzles), a bit excessive but again well thought puzzles. I have to say that the decor and space in these rooms are a bit below expectation, but understandable for (clearly) low budget rooms. The sensors are surprisingly accurate and responsive for seemingly older rooms. There's great potential if these puzzles can be turned into fancier adaptations, but already neat as is. Extremely friendly and enthusiastic staffs (talk to them about escape rooms, they'll love to chat!!).
