The Magic Moonstone

Not our favorite room at Eclipse, but still a very fun room. As usual staff and Game Master were amazing.

Now THIS is magic. I've played many, many magic themed rooms now and after pondering the orb have to say this is easily my favourite one. Having long pined for a magic room that doesn't rely on Harry Potter adjacent themes it's safe to say Magic Moonstone made my wish come true. Tomes, sigils and potions aplenty, the set is genuinely awesome. It's also an enormous space, there were 7 of us who played and it never felt crowded or like no one had anything to do. Definitely a tonne of content to work through, I could see a few puzzles stumping newbies and experts alike. Even still, the puzzles flowed super nicely and we had a joyous time galivanting around the space solving and solving and solving. Our host Kerri was a true delight, her genuine passion and love for the industry shines through in all the games at Eclipse and we felt so welcomed by her kindness. Dee was also a kind and gracious Game Master who set the scene well. This was my favourite room we played on the Gold Coast, a whimsical experience and a breath of fresh air in terms of magic rooms. Spell-binding.

SHADOW WIZARD MONEY GANG. Oh baby, this was an absolutely FANTASTIC escape room from start to finish! The size of the space, the intricacy and variation of the puzzles, the whimsical set design; Eclipse are really out here setting the gold standard in the Gold Coast (ha). Truth be told my friends and I escaped this one very quickly but I think that’s more of a testament to the logical design and progression of the puzzles, because while this is marketed as an easier, more family-friendly experience there’s still a mountain of unique content to keep players occupied and engaged. We even got to have a lovely chat with Eclipse owner Kerri after every game who I found to be so passionate and accomodating throughout every play-through, we all had such a wonderful time! It really is hard to say a bad word about this one because much like the other rooms here, it’s just so polished and seamless! Bravo! 9/10 🔏🧩

Magic moonstone was a multilinear room with lots to look at and investigate. It was a very spacious room, making it really comfortable for us to divide and conquer. The aesthetics were also really well done, and the interior design was high quality making it immersive and on theme. The puzzles were all fairly guided, which made it easier for us, nonetheless a really enjoyable room. The only potential flaw was something that happened at the very end where one of the mechanisms was triggered a bit prematurely.

Completed this room with 4 people in under 35 mins. The room was very big and spacious which made it easier to explore the room and work on puzzles together. It was multilinear so we had plenty to do during the time. Really fitting puzzles and everything flowed well and made sense. Love the aesthetics of the room. Would highly recommend!

This room had a great atmosphere and easy flow to the room. Perfect for beginners except be warned it will start an escape room addiction.

Beautifully decorated, with unique puzzles that immersed you into a world of magic.

This room is huge. The size and scope of this room is breathtaking when you enter it. This room is also genius (as are all of the rooms by Escape Eclipse, and I might be their biggest fan given I have returned from the eastern United States to do their rooms, and am returning again this month. That is not a short distance.) This room is pure fantasy, and it is my fiance's favorite escape room at eclipse. In fact, we loved this room so much that in November of 2025, I surprised my fiance by throwing him a birthday party inside of this particular room. (BTW, they pay a lot of attention to detail when it is your birthday. They had little messages hidden everywhere for him). I won't tell you how they keep time in this room, but it is creative, which is the best word to describe Escape Eclipse in its entirety. We were told that the owner made many of the props by hand, but they were still movie-quality. If you enjoy fantasy and magic, this room is for you.

All of Eclipse's rooms have been amazing, and of all of them this is my favourite! Beautiful and immersive theming, with a fantastic witchy vibe. We were able to chat to the creator/owner after and learned all about how she commissions custom props from a local craftsman - and it shows! There is so much thought, love and dedication put into the development of this room and the result is a fantastic and memorable experience.
