French Quarter House of Curiosities: Our friend, an employee at the House of Curiosities, had mysteriously disappeared. We had to solve the mystery to find out what happened to her and ensure her future safety. The Game Museum (Metairie Location): Progressing through the history of games, we were racing the clock in the ultimate game of skill. Pros: Clue Carre once again lived up to its reputation as a top-notch escape room. We have previously played their other rooms here and truly enjoyed our time in each room. The high-quality set design and puzzles themed to the storyline make for a great game play experience. We found the House of Curiosities a joy to play progressing through the game at a speedy rate that we have found indicates logical puzzles and good game flow. We successfully escaped with plenty of time to spare. Cons: We enjoyed playing the Game Museum for the uniqueness of the theme and puzzles but it was not our favorite game at Clue Carre. The downtown location is definitely our recommendation for tourists and escape room enthusiasts wishing to solve fun puzzles and get that immersive theme experience. Keep being awesome Clue Carre! We will definitely be back to play your upcoming games!

I am very proud of myself on this one, my crew overslept so I alone made it over to play the game. I had some good luck early on is the only reason I pulled this one off at all. Without spoilers, the last part of the game was quite a challenge for one person to complete with all the back and forth. I had a great time despite doing this one solo We knocked out a lot of the games over the course of two visits. The location is clean and in the heart of downtown New Orleans so very easy to get to if you need a break from sightseeing to do something indoors. The staff were friendly and had lots of great recommendations of things to do in the city.

The team at Clue Carré was a standout. Lots of joy. The 2 of us had a delightful time in the room with the theme and look forward to going back to do more rooms there.

Just an excellent time together. We really enjoyed our time in the room.
Nothing was high tech but the puzzles were so good!
Atmosphere was on point.
GM was incredible. Shout out to Ian.

Used its limited space expertly.
Plot was integrated well but damnit, Selma is a bad friend. IFKYK
Medium
This might be skewed because we do lots of games. But the game was a very reasonable mix of challenge.

We excelled with just 2 but more could probably do it faster.
Spooky
It wasn’t “scary” but it definitely had a spooky vibe and aesthetic that put you on edge.

My husband and I had a great time! We did board the struggle bus a few times because we didn’t do the obvious thing (facepalm). The room was a bit dim for our not-so-great eyesight, but we managed. We’ll definitely come back and play another room with Clue Carré the next time we visit NOLA.

Not scary
The story and room itself wasn’t scary. However, the dim lighting + my brain making up possible scenarios made it spooky for me.

Nothing damaged/broken that affected gameplay, but things are showing some wear and tear. The items that are handled frequently need a bit of touching up. And the butterfly wings need some love.

For the visually impaired, the room is dim, the font size on items could be made larger, and the font style could be simpler to make it easier to read. The room may be difficult to complete for those with mobility issues.

My husband and I loved this room. I appreciate the theme since it's so relevant to the area. We were also able to work through the room with limited assistance because the puzzles were logical, and the room flowed well. We really enjoyed our time at Clue Carré, and we wish there were more locations with rooms this solid. A note for other enthusiasts: the space isn't huge, and there are a lot of locks and keys and combos. If this isn't your style, then you may be disappointed.

What a delightful little room in a delightful little location! The set wasn’t large scale or high tech but it was fun and functional. The puzzle flow was immaculate and the payoffs were immediate and satisfying. Overall a very good time!
